I have always wanted to settle down. Have a wife and a house.

My dreams change as I venture through life. Some will never come to pass, as they are too big for this world as it is, but some....some will start as a seedling that drinks in the dew and takes from the Earth and grows strong and viable until I am ready for them to happen. Then, and only then, shall I discover them and bring them inside.

This woman will be absolutely perfect for me.

I have wanted my own home again..and now have it

I wanted to see my daughter thru college...we just did that

I wanted to develop really strong family ties..we did that and they are so very strong!

I wanted to know myself and be content enough on my own, single, and I am doing that...

so I am doing pretty good for now.

I also want to finish my book, get published a few more times, and work on the kid's book I abandoned last year.

I really need to drop the weight I gained when they started me on steroids. It isnt a matter of looking better tho that would be true also, but my body just cant handle the extra weight without adding more hurt to every movement..

I want to really work on my spirituality..refine it and strengthen it.

I want to be a much better grandmother than I was a mother. I didnt do too bad as a mom but I was dealing with some issues then that I dont have now so I am hoping this time around will be much more fun!

i really want to be an executive chef at the ritz carlton or the four seasons...and compete on the show top chef.
It would also be nice to fall in love with a compassionate and intellectual woman with a southern accent.

I've always wanted to be a stand-up comedian. Matter of fact, I think Ellen got my life. I should have the comedy show and be married to Portia.

If I have dreams, I like to reset them as goals. Goals are dreams with deadlines and plans.

That said, here goes:

*Get my weight down to a healthy number (and the other numbers, too)-1 year, beginning Monday.

*Write my China book (finally). This is November's NaNo project.

*Russia and Estonia, next summer, and probably yet another book for that.

*Related to that, become a lot more fluent in Russian-1 year

*Get my doctorate-need to find the steps to do that and begin :)
