I'm not sure how you feel about Eureka Springs but this time of year until Oct. there is something happening every weekend. You can go to Eurekasprings.org or .com to see calendar of events. Hope this helps.

Medusa started a thread for Arkansas some time ago. If you do a search for it, I'm sure you will find that one as well as lots of threads that could be interesting for you. :)
