View Full Version : Greetings from Sweden
Hej! Just stumbled over this place yesterday, amazing thinking that I am a little bit retarded when it comes to computors... And that's not a joke, I just resently got an e-mail address, and learned how to send computor mails. Still prefer the regular kind though... So new at this...try to bear with me...
I'm Cane by the way.

Welcome to the site, Cane! I hope your stay here (and with the technology you're embracing) is delightful!
Thanks... my first thread, I'm impressed with myself. Off to work now, wonder if I will be just as impressive there...

:toast: Welcome Cane, I hope once you settle in some that you will share what Gay life is like in Sweden. Inquiring minds want to know!!

:welcome: and enjoy the site. I have to agree with Passionaria about being curious how the LGBTQ community is treated in Sweden compared to life here in the US or Canada.

Hello Cane. I'm not so great with computers either but it gets easier.

Welcome aboard, Cane, glad you found us. Lots of great folks and minds on this site. Enjoy your stay.
As for not being too computer-literate, don't worry about it. As Diva (Hi, Diva!!!) said above, there's lots of computer-saavy people on here who will be happy to help you with any questions/issues you want to address.
You are a welcoming crowd I must say. Looking forward to seeing you guys around.
As for sweden I assume that it's probably a lot like usa, uk or the rest of Europe. Gay is pretty much mainstream. Legally we have the same rights (well apart from the discrimination laws), marriage and adoption is the same as for straight people.
In Stockholm, the capital, there is a lot of gay hang outs, in Malmoe, where I live, not so many, but Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark is only an half an hour away so if we want to party we can always go there...
