My bronze love slowly turning to gold

I've put my memories away
Folded carefully between twin paper sheets
Yet though I walk these days happy
In sleep a dream silently weeps

I look at these mountains and wonder
If they were the Wu Mountains so cold
And we were two simple dwellers
In a land where jade more precious than gold
