The rose Garden

I just thought I would make a thread for people to come and hang out inside the rose garden, we have blue, red, pink, and yellow roses along with a few benchs for you all to sit on, along with a nice pond to watch the fish swim in.

Please enjoy your time here and remember clean up after yourselfs please.

I am trying to post some pretty pictures of the flowers I have cut, I will get back to it.

**walks into the garden and takes a look around, smelling the sweet roses and smiling at the peaceful nature of the place.

I begin by taking some multi-colored stepping stones and using them to create paths between the various rose patches, with messages on them like *Hope*, *Love* and *Faith*. I go to one corner of the garden and work on putting many little and big rocks and stones together forming a waterfall where water cascades down over a four-tiered rock garden. Lily pads, small fish, frogs and flowers float in the water and two benches are placed around the waterfall to be close to its calming ripples.

I place one pink, purple and blue rock by a swing set that I've engraved with "everettdiva" in large calligraphy, surrounding it with smal pebbles and planting a few sets of flowers around it**

Well hello there Braedon, Thank you for decorating everything for me it looks amazing. maybe at some point I will expand it and plant some tree's and such. We should get some little frogs and maybe a couple turtles. Im taking you with me to homedepot you can help me pick out some stuff

Homo Depot is a guy's dream come true, bring on the trip! :cheesy:

I think the frogs and turtles can be bought at a nice pet store, otherwise Homo Depot and maybe a couple greenhouses would be good places to go to for ideas :D

A swimming pool would be nice, maybe a swing set? I know that I love swings, and having a set here in the garden surrounded by the beautiful flowers and waterfall would simply be amazing ~ of course, this place is amazing already :D

I've always been able to appreciate a beautiful space like this, so quiet and peaceful yet full of sounds (like birds chirping and hearts beating). I take a light purple shawl, since its chilly outside, and drapes it over everett's shoulders giving her a big squeeze before going back over to My swing and taking a sip of My water** :)

Hmm, I'm not sure how long you should wait ~ maybe an hour? That's what I hear is the best amount of time to wait after eating, but I don't know for sure .......... just take care and don't rush anything :D

Good afternoon hun, how was the garden this morning? Its so sunny and warm outside, I think I'll take the time to just enjoy the smell of these beautiful flowers and get some sun on My skin :)

I'm glad I got bug repellant on cuz the mosquitoes are aweful, but that's not gonna keep Me from enjoying the sweet smells and sounds of the Garden :D

I think we need to make that trip to Homo Depot soon ~ we need more flowers to plant, some bird feeders, bird food and a few more decorations ............ its looking awesome in here :thumbsup:

Speaking of Homo Depot, I actually got a flyer of theirs in the mail today so I was looking through it and got a few cool ideas for the Garden like maybe a mini deck with some patio furniture and a BBQ ~ I think a fountain (or two) would be a good idea, so I will put that on the list of stuff to get for the Garden once I can drag everett to the Depot :D

I am putting in a gazebo for all to enjoy. I will have a ceiling fan put in for all to enjoy the hot days. And it will be screened in to avoid the bees, misquitos, and such. Outside the door will be a huge Weber grill so we can cookout, and eat inside the gazebo - bug free! I am a man on a mission!

It's hard to tell but what little flowers she put in, they were just white ones!

I guess you can't call it a rose garden but each year I go down home to visit I first go and buy hugs bouquets of flower for the cemetery. (they do not allow fresh only at funerals and flower day) The wind is so strong some days on that huge hill that fresh flowers do not stand a chance. I like to go around and speak to all that are there and put flowers as a token of my affection and remembrance. On flower day it is like a mile square of color and beauty of every kind of flower. I like to sit and ponder for the whole day. My aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, grandmothers, grandfathers, mom, day, sister are all in my mind as I go to each grave and say my prayer.


My name is already on the family plot since 2000 when we got the plot and stone for father.
