Just finished watching " The Stoning of Soraya M.", a foreign film-Iran. A true story, 1986. I was sickened, furious, I cried, yes I cried, was furious again, hit the wall, cursed...I rode an emotional roller coaster...and I'm still feeling it..God and this stuff still goes on. Women, ARE the strongest beings on this earth!! God bless the WOMEN!! God help the WOMEN!
If you haven't seen this movie, and care about women's issues and social justice, consider watching it....be warned, it will shake you, to say the least.

A Christmas Stroy and Doctor Zhivago next (i have NEVER seen this movie)


Tuck Dr. Zhivago (1965) under your belt for the rest of your life. It's one of the greatest epics ever filmed by David Lean. The photography is as big as the story with Omar Sharif, Julie Christie, Rod Steiger, the legendary Alec Guiness and Geraldine Chaplin (yes, daughter of Charlie Chaplin). They don't make them like this anymore, so enjoy.

The score (Lara's theme) is beautiful. Won 5 Oscars, up for several but did not win Best Picture.
