I'm wearing as very little as possible because it is so hot, which always leads to not eating and drinking more water than my body could possibly need but it must need it because it has yet to come out. Right now, I'm listening to a Seattle Jazz Fusion band called "Ecstacy in Numbers" as they play a very soothing number called, -Her Song-. The good news today (something good) was that I finally was able to come home and take a very cold shower. Still, my sweat smelled as sweet as the feeling of freshness as I stood under very cold water. As always, I smiled a few genuine smiles today even if they were stuffed in my pocket or down inside my bra. Mostly I stayed in the real world of work, not much play; but tonight I found my way to this website and a few others but real life took precedence over life in the digital domain. Fortunately, because I am terribly tired, I am leaving for dreamland as my pillows look very comforting, right now.

I was thinking that I could come by here and say that today was a sizzling hot day; but it was a lovely day in that I could do something good by not eating or drinking too much.... but I did take a nice long swim in the Sandy River (which is still ice cold!). Little known things about me lately are that I've drastically reduced consuming too much food, expanded my intake of fluids and have ultimately had the pleasure of revising my life so many times over the past few months, that I am positive I am no longer the same woman I was a few months ago (citing: what I am I drinking, eating, what I am thinking, where I have been lately).

Fortunately, I am wearing a much beloved set of clothes that have survived too many days of wearing them over the years: Black yoga pants, fuzzy pink and teal striped socks and a beloved t-shirt with quarter length sleeves pushed up to my elbows. As well, I do smell rather womanly today (we'll not talk about that right now) as I do not have to make any public appearances but I do smell rather lovely (Y'Lang Y'lang + Jasmine, and escential oil potion that is simply divine).

Mostly today, I have enjoyed wearing a beautiful smile, the genuine type. The good news is that I am going to go now because I must retreat to my own quiet universe and buckle up for a rather frenzied affair that must be attended to with speed necessary to my financial empire (which is rather low right now).

As it is, I am listening to a beautiful melody that I feel every bell tower on a university campus should play no matter the season of the year.

But, to their credit and mine, it did make me smile. :)


I guess I have done all I can today, with work search and employment seeking processes, so I will leave the life of the online world (here, fb, yt, et al.) and sashay my sweet smelling self out into the world of pearly gray clouds and vibrant rays of sunshine and take a sweet melody or two with me. As I sit here this afternoon, I find myself dressed in a beautiful smile and also wearing comfortable clothes that never go public but remain with me here at home because life at home is nearly as comfortable as possible, on most days I live to tell about it!

Naturally, out of habit mostly when I spend quality time at home, I have already had a few cups of coffee and now must increase my intake of water and will no doubt go out in the afternoon sunshine for an activity which will help me meet my previous exercise experience in my former work life.

Mostly, today, I've immersed myself in positive thinking and await the moment when a new work offer is placed within my possession. The good news today is that I enjoyed a leisurely bath and now smell remotely like coconuts; to wit, I must now find my secret stash of Almond Joys because I must have something entirely nutritious that is sweet and satisfies my desire to coat myself in chocolate and satisfy my sweet tooth....

All in all, I have yet to listen to music today but the Pelican windchimes on my patio and the adorable baby bird (who grew up rather fast this summer) are providing the sound of music that is delicious to my mental state. :)

I have spent my morning in the real world and my break this afternoon was spent here and elsewhere in the online world; but I retreat now to life in the real world as today I want to make my day ridiculously *Amazing*.... That said, I shall now go get my bottle of ice water and commence to entertain lovely ideas for supper while I take a walk out in the sunshine and then return home to see if anyone has left an offer of employment.

I've been listening to The Tallest Man On Earth (song: 1904) and slowly waking up to my day - which it is beautiful here today and makes me smile! I work today so even though I'm still lounging around the house in my favorite black satin robe, waiting for my hair to dry, I will be wearing black dress pants, a black sweater and black kitten heels for work tonight.

I've only had one cup of coffee (I do want more), I've not been too hungry, but I do smell rather nice - I'm wearing a hint of Jasmine with Y'Lang Y'Lang.

I was listening to Tommy James & The Shondells earlier (and a bunch of other artists) but right now, I'm back to listening to the wind delicately making my patio chimes sing soft, mysterious melodies.

It's rather early yet today, so I haven't really got any good news to share or anything that's caused me to smile. I feel fortunate to wake to another day and see how beautiful it is outside: that's worth a smile, yes? :)

For now, I will make another cup of coffee, read a bit more here, maybe play a game or two or three of cards in the arcade, then log off and go soak up some of that gorgeous sunshine outside.

Right now I'm wearing the clothes I had on earlier this evening when I went for a walk nearby in the fields to pick berries. I just made a cup of tea and I washed some of the berries to eat and just noticed that it will take a few days for the berry stains to come off my finger tips and natural nails.

Throughout my day today, I've been listening to Ben Howard: He's an Indie Folk artist from the UK and I just totally think his songs are so beautiful - expecially the song called, "Promise." The recording of this song comes across so clearly as it streams through my ear buds that you can hear every string as it is played with a clarity that even includes hearing the artist breathe, on ocassion!

I will no doubt take a long bath soon as I want to be cleaner than I smell right now; but the fading of the field fragrance, as it melds into the trace hints of my Ysetes perfume, is probably the something good that happened in my day today. I actually got to talk with my daughter, spent time with my youngest son and got a letter today from my oldest son (that's my good news, too).

I haven't really felt like smiling today but I think I may have slowly smiled in the present moment of now, due to remembering the little notes I got throughout my day, from friends and family, here and there.

I guess that's it for now.

Don't really have much to say tonight except that I've mostly spent the day at home, relaxing in my old worn out yoga pants, fuzzy socks and layers of tops (camisole, long-sleeved t-shirt, fuzzy jacket thingy) with my bedroom curls going askew everywhichway on top of my head, today.

The bread is finally done: I rubbed the loaves down with a second coat of rosemaried olive oil and put them in recycled wax-paper bread bags that I have saved back from when I've bought bread at the bakery. The roasted vegetables are all gone though. I ate them all (I did get Eddie to try them, even though he won't eat them on his own).

I've been here and there, online.
I work tomorrow but thankfully I have Sunday all to myself
(my only day off next week, seemingly).

I smiled a few times today, too.

Also, we have this low pressure system that brought
rain to our area and it has steadily rained all day....
will probably rain all night too.

Right now though, I think I should go to bed.
I'm gonna snuggle with my pillows and curl up
with my blankets and get some rest.
