Can you take a listen

Hi Everyone,

Could you please take a moment out of your day and take a listen to this singer. this was a runner up for our Canadian Idol. I'm looking for your feedback as to his sound and look.

He has asked me to take him on as a artist and manage/promote him. I have my opinion, but looking for your thoughts/comments.

Just a side note this is not necessarily his Genre that he normally sings in just happened to be the link that i had.

he has a nice enough voice. he's young, yes? i listened to a few of the songs he has on youtube. he doesn't seem to have a huge range and i think maturity may help him "own" the songs he's singing. i didn't get a real sense of his personality from his performances. perhaps it's different live?

I have to echo Little Man's response: nice voice, but I get the feeling he's trying to be something he's not. I too listened to a number of his songs, but it would be nice to hear something other than ballads and see if he can stretch beyond the sultry singer genre. Young - yes, but I think it's more a matter of relaxing and finding himself. There are lots of good singers out there, but who is he? Don't get a sense of that from his songs.
