Hi,

I recently registered and thought that I'd better introduce myself. I'm feeling a bit tongue-tied tonight so I doubt it will give you much insight into my personality or motivations for joining the site but it's a small step in the right direction, right? I also wanted to thank those who have already taken the trouble of welcoming me to the site. Thanks! I'm a single femme in my mid-twenties and hail from Melbourne, Australia. Look forward to participating in some interesting discussions and making new friends.

Welcome and it is a huge step in the right direction. One of my favorite cities in the world, is your home. I can still hear the song birds!

"most uninspiring introduction ever written"..title on the front page brought me here, so, I am inspired already.

Welcome to the Planet from way down under, and I will look for more tantalizing words to get my attention.

Thank you UofMfan and InfiniteFemme. What brought you to Melbourne, InfiniteFemme? I love the sound of magpies carolling in the morning too.

I went to Australia to spend time (month) with a dear friend... Melbourne was my last stop for a few days. I fell in love with Australia and wish I had more (shopping) time in Melbourne - truly a place in which I keep very close to my heart.

Thanks again. This has to be one of the most friendly, welcoming forums I've ever joined. I just hope further participation doesn't quickly disillusion me! (Although the posts by Abigail and others suggest it won't). Some of you have got some great signatures...Also great to see the Lolcats have colonized almost every concievable forum, website, inbox and social networking site on the internet.
