What kind of fried pickle? Cuz around here they fry them in spears and that's just WRONG, imo. You need to get the sliced kind or do the slicing yourself. Frying spears is just plain laziness to me. I like each individual piece to be battered and oh, so yummy with oh, so bad for you fried bits 'n batter.

I will know by Monday if I got the job at Teavana. I blew the store manager's mind, when I answered a question she hadn't asked me yet. She put me on the sales floor to see how well I did. I was sweating my ass off in the suit I was wearing, but I looked good.

My hip really needs to stop hurting and I am hoping my Aleve kicks in soon.

I am having Fig Newtons tonight and if I had ice cream in my fridge, I would probably having some...:chocolate::cherry:

I will be spending Easter weekend in Orlando and doing nothing. I might buy a few things and celebrate it alone; since everyone will be gone.

I confess that I don't hate you about the Gators thing as long as we agree to disagree. I had a run in with some of the players years ago (yes, I know...all new people now, but still...) that just struck me the wrong way and I've had a prickly spine about them ever since.

Perhaps you are walking the wrong way? It may seem silly, but there are several ways to walk that would open yourself up to injury. I used to walk really fast putting most of the pressure on my shins and calves, not realizing it, thus opening me up to shin splints. I have to actually think about my form the faster I walk or I will revert back to my bad form.

- Having lunch with some co-workers before our shifts was much more enjoyable than I thought
- I wanted to smoke when Theresa pulled out her cigs but I did NOT
- I did not eat nearly enough today, I realized this when every customer that came to my register made me think "Go the F somewhere else!"
- The lady that unscrewed the top on the caulk remover entirely so when I went to pick it up, it spilled all over her cabinet she was buying (on the cardboard, NOT the actual cabinet), was a real biotch and I did not even blink when I told her no when she requested a discount because the remover got on the -cardboard- and I spilled "2 oz" of it.
- I am oh so looking forward to tomorrow. Even with the handful of errands we need to run, we get AbbyGoose and perhaps our bowling plans are even still on
- I may or may not have vented about the other mother ruining our day plans by making us get her 7 hours later than we had originally planned
- I am looking forward to the Mexican place Bard is taking me to tomorrow a LOT

That's how I originally decided I liked the Seminoles. Their colors are pretty.

I had a wonderful day hanging out with Violaine. I loved it when she stopped to check on this guy who was walking down the street with his puppy on his shoulder. I handed her my bottled water to give to the guy just in case he didn't have any water available. It was over 95 degrees today in Orlando.

I loved it when I went to the auto shop with her, that a guy who works there tried talking to the two of us like we were idiots. The guy tried to say there was nothing wrong with her car, right after her car stalled in front of mine and I almost hit her. How they girl who works there took a claw hammer to one of the cars that the shop owned and hit the car with it, after someone pulled her wig off.

I had fun going swimming lastnight and it helped my foot feel better! I am going swimming again tonight.

My interview with Lane Bryant was unusual. We had to do a group interview and pick out an outfit that we liked and explain why we picked out the outfit. I picked out a really cute black top with fabric roses on the right shoulder, bootcut jeans and black cork wedges with patent leather straps. One of the girls was trying to impress the manager or assistant manager way to hard and one thing I have learned about job interviews, don't go to much into your personal life.

My interview with BestBuy was scheduled for the wrong day; now it is for next Monday at 1:30pm.

I am exhausted and I may take a nap today...

That the job interview for Lane Bryant was unique, I have never participated in a group interview before. I came home to find that the interview for BestBuy was scheduled on the wrong day and had to have it rescheduled for next Monday. Then I got a call from CVS Pharmacy and the manager asked me to come in lastnight at 6pm. I got there an hour early and the manager interviewed me right away. She kept saying how much she liked the fact that I had all of my retail experience and how she wouldn't have to train me a lot. I still have another interview on Friday and then one next Monday.

Waking up to an email from the Campus President of DeVry, asking me if I would like to come in and pick up a letter of recommendation from him, or have his assistant email it to me...This made my day and I am glad that I graduated from a small private college...So now, I have four letters of recommendations from DeVry and I feel they are going to tell the truth more than my previous managers...

I am really glad I've made the decision to take out student loans to help with my cost of living for next semester. I couldn't do this schedule again.

Quiet surroundings are wonderful and I enjoy them when I get the chance. Yesterday, I was the only one here in the apartment and I broke out my word search book and did several of them, while Athena was laying next to me and watching, "Murder She Wrote".

You are a wonderful friend to and just be careful with how much you borrow for student loans. When you get a bill for your student loans and it is almost $500 a month, it's no fun! I took out enough to buy a brand new house to fund my Bachelor's Degree at DeVry, but it is worth it in the end.

Woohoo! Glad your semester is almost done and I couldn't believe the other night, when chance would have it, that we had a butch for a waiter at Olive Garden. Hy kept coming over and making sure I had enough water and kept talking to me instead of Matt...My night was very good...Hehe...Hy took Matt's information in regards to going to DeVry, so who knows, I might see hym walking around DeVry when I go to the Career Services office...

Getting out of a 10 hour shift yesterday, driving an hour back home and seeing the surprised look on my mama's face on Mother's Day felt amazing!

I truly am enjoying my new job. The people who work at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. When I walked into my department yesterday, the am supervisor, wrote, "Welcome Jennifer", on the white board. I also received a hand written letter from the senior director of my department, welcoming me.

I am exhausted from getting up at 5am, but it is well worth it.

I am not looking forward to this coming Saturday. It will be the ninth anniversary of my dad passing away and I am glad that I will be working! My oldest niece and nephew are also coming down for the summer and I am looking forward to that.

So I decided, I am only going to be in the mall a half an hour and I left my windows down. The temp was 94 degrees and it was humid. As I am walking out of the mall, this huge rain cloud appeared and let loose. By the time it had stopped raining, I had to make a trip to IKEA to buy towels. My car is still drying out and the windows are rolled down again.

I am off today and I am loving it. I have a new schedule for work and I am looking forward to not having to wake up at 5am anymore.

I have a job interview with Universal Studios on Thursday for a part time job at the Starbucks location.

I am happy to know that my oldest niece and nephew are coming down today and will be staying at my mom's house for the next ten weeks.

Today is the ninth anniversary of my dad's passing and I am doing good.

-I actually had a "real" conversation with my mom on the phone today
-It went well...
-Course the only reason I called was to tell her about my stupidity today
-It cost me a trip to the Dr and 7 stitches...
-But all is well...only the 2nd time I have ever had stitches
-I may have freaked out Sunshyne a little...cause it happened while she was in school...
-And she got the random txt of "is it bad of the nurse says 'oh wow'..."
-I have a phone call tomorrow for potential job...
-keeping my fingers crossed...
-cannot wait to move to San Antonio!

I am really enjoying my job! I am still in awe that Bank Of America just charged me $6 to cash my paycheck.

Today is my only day off until next Wednesday. I'm going to spend it with my family and maybe hit the pool today.

I'm going to view an apartment today with my roommate and I'm hoping we like it!

This girl who is wearing a really horrible smelling perfume needs to go home and wash it off. I cannot stand the smell of Abercrombie and Fitch's colognes. You shouldn't be able to smell the alcohol!

i need to get some shoes for the Bahamas and my time is quickly running out

one more week and i wont have to be getting up at the buttcrack of dawn to get the Prince off to school

I confess I have probably bought a thing or two that I didn't really want/need/use just because it was "too good to pass up"..and only later, when offering it to friends or donating it realized it's only a good deal if you actually USE it. :seeingstars:

I confess that if she packs like I do, one bag is never enough, regardless of the size! (You need seperate bags for clothes, shoes, girl stuff, etc) oh, it's true, I'm fun to travel with (my butch will be rolling her eyes when she sees this).

I confess...(and she would too) we've never been anywhere and been unprepared....perhaps overly prepared... ;)

My body still hasn't adjusted to my new work schedule and I am looking forward to when my roommate and I, finally move into our new apartment. Having no one wake me up at 3am to either microwave a hot pocket or walk outside to smoke is going to be wonderful!

I confess all of what you said is probably true!

I FURTHER confess that the time that you did drive down, you had a companion...and we were staying in a cabin that had almost everything a human could need (and yes, I know, I still packed too much stuff).

I even further confess that you have never, not ever, not even once complained when some of the extras I pack are bath goodies that make both of our baths smell ever so yummy.

I finally confess that I am glad you weren't complaining above..cuz girl, I will always come with a lil baggage ;)

I also confess (yeah, so it wasn't quite a final confession :D) that the time you did drive down..you weren't exactly in a land yacht of any kind. ;) Thus prolly limiting your space. But...true 'nuff. You will always pack lighter than I do.... :hamactor:
