Its that time of year when one year ends and a new one begins. We need calendars to guide us through our days. I was thinking about my favorite ones I have had over the years and thought this might make a good thread. What kind of calendar are you hoping to get for 2011?
Some I have had in the past are:
Newfoundland dogs ("newfs gone bad" was the theme)
horses (all variations)
Barbie (loved her!)
Cooking with herbs (great dishes!)
Witches/pagan themes (with moon cycles listed)
this year? I think most likely a gardening calendar. Too bad there arent any good butch calendars...

I found the wall calendar I want today at Barnes and Noble. It's a "Spicy Detective Dangerous Dames" pulp art calendar. I don't know why I didn't go ahead and buy it...lol

Because, in 4 days, it will be half price or cheaper.

I had a geiger calendar...the artist who designed the aliens in Alien. The pictures were so disturbing to look at, my team of volunteers and staff asked me to place it where they could not see it. It creeped them out...

I'm working on a photographic project of exploring gender through portraiture. As part of the project I will be photographing many butches. I just might collect the best ones and make a calendar featuring them for next year.

I don't believe I have ever bought a hanging calendar. The only ones that I have ever had were the two my sister made of her kids.
I always pick up 2 calenders ( and never use them).
One is from the bank which features old black and white pics of Cape Cod.
The other is the one from Dunkin Donuts....cuz every month has coupons. :)
