OMG - I finally took down my Christmas tree!!!

I know some of you are saying - "Well that's not so late, after all, it's not even February." That IS true, BUT, my tree has been up since Christmas 2000-NINE. At first we argued about who would take it down, but no one felt like it. When July came, we figured there was less time left than was already gone of the year, so we just left it up. But now its down!!!!

We all pitched in and got it done in about 45 minutes.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!

*laugh* that's awesome. and weird, but pretty funny ;). I have this 4' tree that I got last year... it's a fun thing I'm going to do (I've got 7 ideas so-far) to make a differently-themed tree each year... making and buying ornaments throughout the year. So I've got 2010's Indian/ Bollywood tree up still... it is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen *grin* funky & sassy! ...It'll break my heart to take it down, but it will have to be done. Soon. I'm normally so organized and housekeeper-y... alas. A girl loves what a girl loves. lol

Mine is still up.....I HAVE begun taking off the ornaments, but am sorta glad some were left on because I had this great idea to use 2 of them on 3 separate canvasses I was working on! hee hee

There was a REASON I hadn't taken it down yet!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with my tree still up! With the impending blizzard on the horizon, and plans to be snowed in for a few days - I'm thinking it will come down today or tomorrow :)
