Both Skippy and Jif have way too much sugar in them, for my taste. Healthy Balance peanut butter for this guy.

I'm as hardcore on my Peter Pan as I am on my Duke's mayo
even though I did have to do without for a while during their salmonella scare :|

I don't know how to change the poll, this was my first one. I asked June to fix the mispelling of Jif and add Peter Pan. Maybe she can add "I vote for Life!", as an option, as well.

Did you just photoshop the Adams label onto a jar of sandwich spread?

Sure, just ignore this.

Kraft does have a natural one, which actually is pretty decent.

And don't talk to me about how tough polls are. Geez.. I've created some that had 20 options and still wasn't enough. :P

Thankfully, I don't have sugar issues, however--

The only kind of peanut butter I love is Jif. I love to pull the seal off the top of the jar, and the little tip you know the one that kinda sticks out a little bit at the top of it? That's my favorite part of the whole thing...I scoop that out with my finger (no one in my home likes it but me) and just enjoy the heck out of that first taste (kinda like when you have a very good chocolate and just savor that in your mouth until it melts down your throat) that and the scent of it when you open it...mmmmmm (big sigh) ahem...looks around...sorry...I forgot where I was for a minute...lol...

Choosy mothers choose Jif!

I voted "no to peanuts". Not because I'm allergic, but because I think peanut butter is gross tasting and feeling and I have no desire to eat it. I just threw away the last container unopened....because it expired. :| And we all know how darn long that stuff lasts.

I will say that whatever brand it is, it has to be smoot.

I am addicted to Nutella. It is my favorite smearable sammich item along with marshmallow fluff strangely it's the only chocolate I eat. Everything else is carob for me. How odd now that I think about it. I blame the hazelnuts. If I want peanut butter I want fresh ground organic I use to be a Peter Pan guy until I spent nearly a year with food poisoning before they did a recall.

Is it made from naked bears or do the bears make the peanut butter naked? It's important that I know this before considering any further options.

Okay, now that I am not so Under the Ambien Influence.

Cajeta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cajeta)
Cajeta is made by simmering goat's milk, or occasionally a sweetened liquid, stirring frequently, until it becomes very viscous due to evaporation of water, and caramelized. While goat milk is the most usual base, other liquids or juices may be used.

How the hell is this anything like peanut butter?

I rest my case.

I as about to ask the same about Nutella since it's really chocolate addictive stuff.

And if y'all ever get to Toronto go down to CityTV and check out the crepe store across the street. They sell -- for about $3-4 -- a wrapped crepe with bananas and Nutella. You cannot just have one. I swear.

At least Nutella has nuts in it. Cajeta on the other hand, is just made for nuts.

Simmered goats milk.

Baaaaaah.

If you had a goat, maybe you could make some, and Snow could come visit and have some. :D

The correct name is Smart Balance, and it has 3g of sugar per serving, and that isn't refined sugar but cane sugar and molasses. The best part is that there are 0g of trans fatty acids, and it provides 320mg of omega-3 ALA.

Liam, when you say the "correct name", are you saying that Jif makes the Smart Balance. I know that there is a Smart Balance butter spread of some sort. Does it taste like Jif?

No kidding. Geez, what is up with some folks?

My actual two favorites in life are almond butter and nutella, but i felt compelled to vote for Skippy due to all the Jif strangeness.

I like to smear a little Skippy on bread and then coat that with Nutella. Pair this with a not-too-sweet berry jam for the best pbnj samich ever!

If almond butter weren't close to ten bucks a jar, I'd live on it.

For crepes, nutella and fresh strawberries in sauce with a little whipped cream on top is a little slice of swell.
