I'm actually just beginning my journey into it...lol At the moment I'm doing a degree and a certification. It's a 3 year course that I'm doing in a year and a half, and then will be transferring to a different college. My main goal is to eventually get my PhD. Hopefully. Unless I get bored and change programs a couple times...lol

I have 2 onsite classes (5days a week), 1 hybrid class that was part on-site and part online, and 2 fully online classes. I think I like the online classes better, and may try to get all of them that way for next semester.

I like those kind of hybrid classes. The one I just had was a "minimester" class. 16 weeks worth of class all crammed into 4. Whew! lol The professor said he posted our final grade for that class a couple days ago and I can't find it anywhere. I emailed him but he hasn't responded yet. I really want to know! lol

I'm taking an at-home course from a home study college thats accredited across Canada ~ that should count right? I'm taking Accounting, just started that within the last two weeks and I know already that I'll love it! I'm not much into crunching numbers and such, but I can just tell that its going to be a rewarding career and thats really what I'm looking for.

I can take upto 2 years to get it done, but I don't wanna take more than a year to finish if humanly possible. It helps to be on disability cuz then I can devote as much time to concentrating on My studies as possible ~ maybe once this is done I'll look into getting My CGA (I'll look into that closer to when I know I'll be done this one) and we'll see where things go but I'm enjoying it alot so far ........... love being a student :-)

I'm 32 hours into my degree and start back in the Fall at Winona State University here in MN. I am a double major, Psychology and Women & Gender Studies. I hope to go all the way to a PhD. My goal is to work with GLBT youth.

I am off for this semester but am kicking back up in the fall.

My undergrad is in Human Services and my masters in Occupational Therapy.

I have all my prereqs done for my masters....and since I'm transferring I have to complete 35 hours at the campus to receive a degree, so I have about 3 semesters till I can head off to grad school.

But either way I'm stoked to be back on the path towards finishing...

Oh yes. Especially in anatomy class. I think I know it then when the professor sets the test down in front of me it's like wiping to a clean slate. ugh...

I've been out sick for almost 2 weeks, so I totally missed the end of our first lab practical. I probably missed a couple "surprise" quizzes too. Sucks cause this is my hardest class. :(

Luckily my school and/or professors aren't that strict. Plus I have doctor's notes that put me out. I'm sure they'd rather I stay home than give them the flu and bronchitis! lol

It sucks that they have to do that. Not only does it risk getting others sick, but you know those poor sick folks probably feel so crummy they can't concentrate well. :(

i am a perpetual student myself! one of my greatest sorrows about having vision problems is not being able to study the books i want. i'm luck enough to have found them translated into english, let alone being put into audio format! one of my dreams is to get well enough to spend some time ata monastery as a bikkhuni and go to Naropa to get my M.Div in Buddhism and Tibetan language! right now i am studying at Nalandabodhi's HomeStudy program and taking what courses i can at Ashoka.
namaste,
