The show premiered tonight and I love it!

It seems to me that Christina and Adam have some friction between them. Whether it's due to a competitive spirit, a stronger rivalry, or just for show...it's interesting. I like that the coaches stress that they are just that...coaches...and not judges. It's sad when someone's not chosen by anyone, but I love it when a few of them are battling for these folks.

I think this is a fantastic show. It has met my expectations fully.

Really loving it so far...especially the premise that they get heard without being seen. So much of the American Idol thing is based on age and appearance that I've just never been able to get into it. This, I like. :)

No worries. I'm sure it'll be on hulu tomorrow. When you get the TV fixed/replaced, you HAVE to see it. The premise is so authentic. As a singer, I'm sure you would have more to say about the performances too.

Keep in mind it's on Tuesday nights (after Biggest Loser) and I think it's going to be two hours next week too.

I like all of those...plus the heavyset young guy with the plaid shirt that picked Adam.

The one pick that baffled me was the duo....didn't care for them at all. I'd have preferred the girl whose parents are from India over them for sure.

I learned something new today!

The guy with the fro who is from Austin was an intern on the radio station I listen to! They had put him on the radio with an exec listening. The music executive decided to not sign him, but they played his audition and he rocked! He played guitar and sung a mash of Bruno Mar's "Just the Way You Are" and Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance". It was actually pretty good!

I like this show.....neat concept....but then I wonder how many times the chairs will last....what happens if they hit their button and they don't turn around? .....I can see it getting old. Unless they changed coaches.....but even then.

I don't see the tension between Adam and Christina....I think they're kinda cute.

I did prefer the first night of blind auditions to tonight's but I do think that those who sang last now know the importance of choosing the right song, as most of them improved dramatically, imo.

Can't wait to see/hear the battle rounds!

So, I caught the tail end of the second episode on Sunday when I was looking for Sex and the City on E! I ended up watching the remainder of that episode and the first episode on Hulu.

To me, this show is SO much better than AI, which I have only ever seen like 2 or 3 episodes of. I appreciate the blind auditions.

Tonight should be interesting with the dueling stuff.

I just finished watching the show on Hulu
Personally, the first 3 songs didn't work well with the people singing the songs and made for weak performances
The last song was perfect for the 2 singing and brought out the best in both of their voices
Everyone was rockin' to an old rock song, I wanted them both to win
In my heart though, I knew Beverly would win with her strong vocals

Looking forward to the next week and can say I am a fan of this show
I have never watched any of the other similar shows.....ever!!!

I loved Beverly and Dia. Liked Jared. Everyone else, not so much.

Xenia needs to learn to project. The music was louder than she was. I didn't have any issue at all with Dia doing the Kanye song and I love that it was her suggestion to do it. She took it, reworked it and rocked it. Great job.
