What are some of your favorite cartoons? From vintage to animee, there's plenty to choose from. I prefer the old ones and some of my favs are:
Jetsons
Flintstones
Johnny Quest
and my all time fav, Rocky and Bullwinkle
Mister Bent

Bugs Bunny. For me, there really is no other. He was brilliant, full of relevant (at the time) social commentary and a genius. I can still watch it and laugh.
Also, Road Runner.

I second Bugs Bunny as an all time favorite...actually all the old Warner Bros cartoons. They were genius! :)
Family Guy and Simpsons -I probably shouldn't admit it but I kind of identify with Homer...

Cartoon Network had a block of time that had a mix of Hanna-Barbera shows and some really great characters....Magilla Gorilla comes to mind.
I did have to look some of these up for the correct show titles and whatnot, but it's kind of scary how many I remembered without looking anything up.
I spent a LOT of time in front of the TV as a child and adolescent.

Gemme i'm impressed with your list. Always the over achiever you are. Very nice and i agree with most of those.
Guy....speed racer. Wasn't that the one with the real mouth? I mean like someone's mouth was there and not the cartoons? Maybe i had too much sugar in my cereal on Sat morning but that one is the one that sorta freaked me out.

I quite liked a lot of the ones that folk have listed above, but favourites? When I was younger, probably Bugs Bunny, and somewhat later, Rhubarb and Custard. But later again and I came across graphic novels and there's a blurry line between those and serialised cartoons. My current favourite cartoon is Freefall at Purrsia, about the adventures of a sapient gentically-engineered wolf called Florence Ambrose. It's funny, sweet and thought provoking, really tackles some deep questions whilst still managing to be funny.

I don't know what I'd say that my favorites in childhood were, because for the most part I watched what was on, and I haven't really watched them since. I could mention a few more recent ones, though.
RWBY and Steven Universe for ongoing ones. For finished ones, Bodacious Space Pirates (which is actually not a fanservice anime, despite the name, and also has actual Not-Subtext Gay in it; would recommend), Madoka (I only watched the original anime, not any of the movies), and... there's one more I really like but I'm actually kind of ashamed of liking, so only if you promise you won't judge :hiding:

I rediscovered Snoopy lil over a year ago. He was my all time favorite before I was old enough to watch Saturday morning cartoon. He's returned my favorites list.
During the holidays, there are Peanuts holiday specials.. there was one for Christmas, New Years (and I think Halloween and Thanksgiving??) on television.
I love them! On the Christmas one, Snoopy took Lucy shopping.. they got on top of his doghouse, Snoopy put on his flying goggles and his doghouse became an airplane.. taking off into the sky. Lucy asked "Where's my peanuts? I'm supposed to get a snack on an airplane" and Snoopy handed her his dog food dish!
Yes, I do love it!
