Hi,
I happened on this website a few weeks back. I've been lurking and reading and finally decided I'd say hello.
I came out to my family more than a year ago as a longterm relationship was ending badly. I'm blessed in that my parents are about as open-minded as people come. A couple of hippy types they think love is love is love. So no real major issues there.
I met a wonderful woman who has been a great source of love, affection and healing for me. We moved in together ( please, no U-haul jokes ;) ) very quickly and live in mostly a harmonious state. There is a generation gap, she's 14 years older than me. But I often feel out of sync with people my age (Who knew Fleetwood Mac wasn't hip anymore? LOL) so it hasn't been too large of an issue for us.
Anyway, I'm still finding pieces of "me" every day. I thought maybe if I found a place where people share opinions and experiences I might also find a little insight into how other people live and identify in this world.
