Bee meets Dandy - Decide to make honey in Canada.

Almost three years ago I met my beloved Ima Dandy on the dash site. We courted long distance for six months, spending every second week together, and then she moved to the Maine town right across the river from the New Brunswick town where I live. But we want more than "fewer nights in Canada than in the U.S." the border agency's restriction - so we are going to get married so she can move here to Canada. (as most of you may know, U.S. law prevents her from sponsering me to move to the U.S.)

On December 27 of this year, three years to the day of our meeting in person, we will be legally married in Canada. But the BIG day comes next August in Northern Maine, where we're having a big family and friends wedding on a lake! (yes - I said ON the lake!)

I literally never dreamed I would marry, and I CERTAINLY didn't dream that I would fall so deeply in love....and with an AMERICAN! ;) I am indeed blessed.

I am in Canada now thanks to a recently obtained work permit but it was NOT easy, they really don't like people coming here for a long visit!...I am glad it will all work out and you won't have to be apart anymore...

Canada is amazing in SO many ways, but they sure keep a tight grip on the border!
