San Diego Beach House Bash 2012!!

Hello All!

In the dash site, I was organizing a San Diego Beach House Bash, but the site went kapooey in the middle of it. Everyone seems to have come over here.... so let the planning continue.. and all are invited!!

I was planning a bash sometime next year, possibly March 22nd-25th. I was going to rent a beach house in Mission Bay to stay for the weekend and hang!! The beach house sleeps about 13 people. There is also an option to rent another one for overflow if the response is more than 13 people, or there are alternative hotels in the area that can accommodate people.

The houses tend to have 4 to 5 bedrooms, some rooms sharing 2 twins, some having queens and kings.

Edited by Admin: Starry, I removed all of the parts dealing with the exchange of money. Per our TOS, individuals are not allowed to collect money anywhere on the site (unless on Queerbay). The only time we allow people to solicit is if the money is going directly to a non-profit or business. Individuals are not allowed to collect money to their personal Paypal accounts. I do encourage you to move that portion of the discussion over to Facebook!
I LOVE the idea of this get-together and hope you have a great turnout! Hope you understand but we have to cover our butts legally about $$$. :)

Some info got lost with the admin edit. It is not a requirement to stay in the house. There is a hotel near by too that can accommodate people who would prefer to have their own space. Most of the people on the house list have met previously, and know each other. There are plenty of options!

I suggested 3 nights because the houses are around $800-$1000 a night. There are others that are not *right* on the beach, and they are a lot cheaper. I found one for $1600.00 for the whole week that could fit a large group. So, if people want to stay a whole week, we can get a house for a whole week and people can pay according to the length of their stay... or there are hotels too... :-D I am more than happy to dig deeper and find more stuff.
