A few poems I have written.

I thought we'd be eternally

They say that for everyone.
There's a serton person they're ment to be with.
Someone who fills their life with joy
The one who's heaven sent.

I really thought that my someone
Was you when we met.
Cause that's the day you stole my heart
And that's something I can't forget.

You came into my life.
When I gave up on looking for love
Showed me a love unlike
Anything I've ever known.

The way I felt while in your arms
I can't begin to explain.
You brought joys into my life.
I thought I'd never feel again.

And then you turned my world around.
The day you said goodbye.
Said you fell for someone else.
Is all you told me nothing but lies?

You asked me to love you
And be yours forever.
That everything was gonna be alright
And we'd be together forever.

So why are you telling me
That you dont feel that way now?
You want me to stop loving you.
But darlin I just dont know how.

I gave my heart to you.
With a promis that still remains.
I'll love you till the end of time.
Just wish you felt the same.

I really thought you was the one.
The one I'd spend my life.
Holding close to me each nite.
The one I'd make my wife.

I'll never forget you I promis you now
My love for you wont change.
And should you ever change your mind.
I'll take you in my arms again.

I love you darlin why can't you see
Things the way I do.
You and I are ment to be.
Just wish you felt that way too.


THE WOMAN OF MY DREAMS
There's something about her
Something I can't explain
My thoughts are always about her
Could I be falling in love again?
Didn't think it was possible
For I had been hurt to much
But now I find myself
Yearning for another's touch.
She shines like a dimand
She brightens up my day
Just to see her smileing face
Warms my heart in everyway.
I wanna tell her I've fallen
And what she means to me
I wanna tell her I love her
And hold her close to me.
I swore it wouldn't happen
I'd never let anyone in
After what I'd been through
I'd never love again.
Thought that my heart
Could only beat for one
She was everything to me
But now I find I was wrong.
There is this girl.
I speak to every night
Though we haven't met in person
She's a big part of my life.
I'm falling head over hills
And so now I see.
That she's not just another girl
She's the woman of my dreams.

Thanks all. I have more but am still working on them. I'd like to turn them into music. But seams to be the one thing i have problems doing for some reason.
