The last dream I can remember involves an outdoor dinner party with a few of my friends from this site, in a setting similar to this:

All was going well until we were attacked by a very large grizzly bear. I'm not quite sure what that could mean. :|

Last night I dreamed that I was in this fairly empty house with this really pretty girl. It seemed that she was just moving in it or something. We were laughing and talking, shared a nice kiss, and then all of the sudden we were playing guitar hero and she beat my ass horribly and vanished! lol I haven't played that game in 2 years or even given it any thought, so, that was weird and not what I expected after a kiss!!

Possible interpretation for my own dream...
friends: To see friends in your dream signify aspects of your personality that you have rejected, but are ready to incorporate and acknowledge. The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself. Alternatively, dreaming of a friend indicates positive news.
dinner party: To see meals in your dream suggest that you are dwelling too much on trivial matters, causing your attention to be diverted from important issues.
outdoors: To dream that you are outside represents freedom, openness and opportunities. You are able to spread out and enjoy. Alternatively, the dream signifies your need to be more expressive. It is telling you that you need to stop closing yourself off.
bear attack: To dream that you are being pursued or attacked by a bear denotes aggression, overwhelming obstacles and competition. You may find yourself in a threatening situation.
Personally, I think I just ate too much chocolate before bed that night...lol

They say that the average person has around 1400 dreams a year. I am pretty certain that I only recall about... 150 - 200 a year.

empty house: To see a house in your dream represents your own soul and self. If the house is empty, then it indicates feelings of insecurity.
kiss: To dream of a kiss denotes love, affection, tranquility, harmony, and contentment. In particular, if you are dreaming of the first kiss, then it may just be the anticipation of experiencing the actual first kiss. Perhaps the dream is telling you that you need to inject some more romance into your waking relationship.
video game: To dream that you are playing a video game represents your ability to manipulate others into doing what you want them to do. Alternatively, playing video game suggests that you are trying to escape from the problems in your real life, instead of confronting it. Consider the type of video game for additional insights.
Since it was a guitar game...
guitar: To see or play a guitar in your dream represents passion and emotion. It also relates to sexual connotations and may signal an erotic or sensual dream.
losing: On a symbolic note, losing things in your dream suggests lost opportunities, past relationships or forgotten aspects of yourself. Your personal associations to the thing you lose will clue you into the emotional meaning and interpretation of your dream.
There ya go. Make sense of that one...lol

Last night I dreamed I was standing outside talking to Medusa and Jack on the phone. I looked up and saw a MASSIVE tornado. It was close to impacting my house, close. I said "oh shit, I gotta go!" and hung up, ran inside, gathered the dogs and went into the bathroom, braced my feet on the bathroom cabinet and my back against the bathroom door to hold it closed. I waited a bit and nothing happened. So, I went back outside and it was like it was never there. No one around me saw it, no one seemed to believe me. So, I went into this field where this man had a contraption that you can stand on and it will take you up into the sky to look for tornadoes. lol. I got on it and I saw about 12 tornadoes, but they were all small ones and no sign of the monster that I had see earlier, that appeared to be several miles wide. Finally when I left the field and was walking back, I passed some older ladies and they were going on about the monster tornado that they had seen. I was excited that someone else had seen it. That's pretty much the end of the dream. I called Angie back and went out to their house for dinner like nothing ever happened.

I constantly feel dream about walking up and/or down stairs. Most of the time it's a struggle to walk up and walking down the steps are always steep.
Thanks to dixie, I looked up the meaning from her link....
To dream that you are walking up a flight of stairs indicate that you are achieving a higher level of understanding. You are making progress into your spiritual, emotional or material journey. The dream is also analogous to material and thoughts that are coming to the surface.
To dream that you are walking down a flight of stairs represents your repressed thoughts. You are regressing back into your unconscious. It also refers to the setbacks that you are experiencing in your life. If you are afraid of going down the stairs, then it means that you are afraid to confront your repressed emotions and thoughts.
Not gonna lie, this is dead on!

Overall your dreams basically mean that you enjoy your time on this site. The dinner and the outdoors indicates that you find the people that you interact with to be pleasant and enjoyable. The grizzly bear is the outside world and that real life takes away your fun more than you like.

I dream of swimming pools and water and swimming through tunnels which are somehow back lit with blue lights.....lol.
and of a stream in the high Andes.
here is the info from the link dixie posted... what do you think?
Swimming
To dream that you are swimming suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious mind and emotions. The dream may be a sign that you are seeking some sort of emotional support. It is a common dream image for people going through therapy.
To dream that you are swimming underwater suggests that you are completely submerged in your own feelings. You are forcing yourself to deal with your unconscious emotions.
Swimming Pool
To see a swimming pool in your dream symbolizes relaxation, calmness, luxury and ease. You need to take a break. Alternatively, a swimming pool suggests that you need to acknowledge and understand your feelings. It is time to dive in and deal with those emotions. You need to cleanse yourself and wash away past hurts. Consider the depth of the pool. If you were swimming on the deep end, then it means that those emotions are deeply seeded and may be harder to confront.. You will need to work through it, no more matter how difficult. If you are swimming on the shallow end, then it implies that you should be able to easily deal with your feelings.
To see an empty swimming pool in your dream suggests that you are literally feeling empty and devoid of emotions.
To dream that the swimming pool is filled with trash indicates that you are leading a lifestyle of excess. You need to tone it down and discard some of the negative emotions in your life.
Tunnel
To see a tunnel in your dream represents the vagina, womb, and birth. Thus it may refer to a need for security and nurturance.
To dream that you are going through a tunnel suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious. You are opening yourself to a brand new awareness. Alternatively, it indicates your limited perspective as in the phrase "tunnel vision". Are you being close minded or narrow minded in some issue?
To see the light at the end of a tunnel symbolizes hope. You will navigate through life and all its difficulties with great success. Alternatively, it also indicates the end of your journey and the realization of your goals

Last night I had a bit of an odd dream..
If anyone who ha seen Weeds knows who im talking about, He was the Governor of Mexico, Nancy's husband-- anyway he is the Governor of wherever it is that I am at the moment, he calls me in to tell me that he wants me to kill another important figure.. it was almost like I was some sort of an Assassin or something lol and a friend of mine was there with me and he was kind of like my conscious in a way I dunno I don't remember much but just that I turned to my friend Jason and was like.. "did you hear what he just asked me?" and then we walked around a lot discussing what I could do..
The day before i had a dream that I packed everyone up into the truck, animals and all and we went driving around to different states looking for nice rental homes.

Blue
Blue represents truth, wisdom, heaven, eternity, devotion, tranquility, loyalty and openness. Perhaps you are expressing a desire to get away. The presence of this color in your dream, may symbolize your spiritual guide and your optimism of the future. You have clarity of mind. Alternatively, the color blue may also be a metaphor for "being blue" and feeling sad.
If you are wearing light blue in your dream, then it symbolizes your creativity. You like to pace yourself in whatever you are doing.

Kissing the girl and the empty house is simply your desire to find someone. The empty house literally represents a lack of baggage and a possible willingness to start fresh. For the rest to make any sense it depends on how you felt about the dream.
The video game itself really has no meaning - the fact that the girl disappeared is what is important.
If you felt good about it, then it's an indication that you are not necessarily looking for anything serious or permanent right now. If you felt bad, then it means you could be worried that you might end up with someone who will not be there for you.
How strange to find this thread today. Just this morning I was thinking to myself, I have had a lot of dreams that make no sense what so ever. I couldn't even begin to guess what they mean. But for some odd reason its happened a lot recently.

Assassin
To dream that you have been assassinated represents a hopeless situation that needs your immediate attention and action.
To dream that you are a witness to an assassin indicates that you need to pay more attention to some small detail. Do not overlook the seemingly insignificant things in life.
To dream that you are an assassin implies that you are trying to kill an aspect of yourself. Perhaps you are trying to put an end to a habit or relationship. Consider the characteristics of the person you are trying to assassinate and how these qualities relate to you.

Tornados are a pretty common theme for people who are in a situation where they fear there is something in their life that could go horribly wrong if they let their guard down for even a minute. You were distracted (on the phone) and suddenly there is was. You have a back up plan ready to go at a moments notice (hiding in the bathroom) but nothing happened - meaning you are not really sure if your plan will actually work if you have to use it.
The contraption is preventative measures. If you can get up high enough you can see what's going on and identify the issues (12 little tornadoes) that surround the bigger problem. This is the part of the dream you should focus on... finding ways to learn more about the issue(s) that may be impacting you. Identifying the little tornadoes made the big one go away.
The fact of people not believing is an indication that the people you normally turn to for support may not have the ability to help you in the ways they normally would - likely because they simply do not have the necessary experience. The two old ladies (experience and wisdom) however may have ideas and solutions you can use so keep your eye out for other ways to get the information/support you need.

I was walking to a party. I was on a ridge of sorts with a very deep long drop on the left, and a snowy slope on the right. As I walked, some men began to chase me. I opted to drop down the snowy slope in effort to either hide or get away. I am unclear on my reasoning as this is a dream after all.
I slid down the snowy slope. I was unseen by the men and they passed. As I began to struggle to climb up the slope back to the top of the ridge, I saw the hands and feet of small children sticking out of the snow. I know they were children because they were small. At first they appear to be mannequins or just really waxy. They seemed to not be real people. Yet, as I try to make the climb, it becomes known to me that I am in some sort of boneyard cloaked by the snow. The bones are real, and they are everywhere. The entirety of this hillside is nothing but bones.
I am really struggling to make my way up the hill. With every move, I sink down into these bones. I have blood all over me and it is just such a struggle. It is disgusting. I can actually 'smell' the decay.
I finally made my way to the top. I am exhausted and bloody. I take a shower in a public shower somewhere. I seemed to know it and was not at all alarmed that others were in there showering with me. After the shower, I realize I have no other clothes and have to put the bloody, smelly clothes back on.
I continue on to the party that was my destination to begin with. I get there but do not go in. I look through this really large rectangular window and see everyone is having sex. I watch for quite some time, but do not go in.
Then I am on a bus. Police are on the bus asking me if I had attended the party. I tell them I had not. I tell them I had seen the party, but did not attend. They accuse me of hosting the party and take me to jail.
I am not in jail, but rather working there. (I work in a prison so that part makes sense anyway). However, I am not a Lieutenant at this prison, I empty garbage cans. All the cans are empty, but I empty them anyway.
That is all I remember.

I rarely dream anymore…or at least remember them. Today I woke feeling exhausted and took notes of my dream. By the way, I don’t use fuck very often but in my dream it was rampant:
I took my dad to the bank, he was very worried for some reason. He seemed to think the bank wasn’t going to help him so I told him I would. When we got there, no one would help so I asked to speak to the manager. The bank manager was an asshole but I felt like one too so she didn’t want to fuck with me. I told her to (among other things)…get the check cleared and to get it done before 4…my dad was very worried he would not have any money for the weekend.
I walked out feeling rather assertive but my dad was still worried…my dad then turned into a girl who was very nervous, shaking, but not in a scared way more a crazy way…eyes shifting, can’t stand still…rambling. I told her it was ok, I would go back in if she needed me to. I couldn’t console her. I then noticed that she was dressed as Cinderella and I thought, ‘wow, Cinderella is really old….and neurotic”. I was very disappointed because I always thought of Cinderella as young and strong…but even her clothing was wrinkled and her hair was disheveled and I was very very disappointed. I felt as if my whole life was a sham, as I had always believed myself to be Cinderella and would someday be beautiful and strong…and have prince charming come take me away. This person left me disappointed and hopeless, I was very sad.
There was a large window behind me and the window pointed into the bank…there were many people in line, two who kept staring at me then hiding behind others so that I couldn’t see them (this irritated me)…I watched them for a long while and when finally saw their faces…they were witches like the witches from that Bette Midler movie. They had a sense of no good, not harm but I got a sense that there were NOT friendly. Because I was already so emotional, these two irritated me even more. I wanted to go over and punch them in the face. No one else noticed them but I did. I knew they wanted something from me and I wanted to go over. I remember thinking to myself, "whats with all the fairy tale bitches???" Then the dream turned into…
Me driving in a town I didn’t know. I saw a row of furniture stores, used crappy furniture stores. I got out of my car and carried out an old dresser (from my car) and started walking around with it. It was heavy.
The first store had no one in it and it was outdoors…there were only a few pieces but as I looked around, there became more and more…I started to feel overwhelmed and went to the next store.
The guy in the next store was rude and told me to get out of his store with that ugly dressor. I told him “fuck off, asshole”.
The third store I had been to before. I was still carrying the dresser and I told the guy I wanted him to fix it. He said there was nothing wrong with it and that I was crazy. I had green paint oozing from it and I said to him, “does this look like nothing???” He just stood there and laughed at me. He just disappeared and I was left in his stupid store and had to look around, not that I was stuck, I just wanted to buy more furniture I guess. When I saw that all he had was junk, I came back for my dresser and I couldn’t find it. I was surrounded with dressers with more green paint and some had writing on them, all were dirty and peeling, and falling apart. I told him these weren’t mine but he started to yell at me. I yelled back, I told him I was going to tell everyone about him and his fucking store.
I started back to the car carrying my dresser, or the imposter (which pissed me off even more), and I dropped it...it broke into about 50 pieces and I began to cry. I just started running, trying to avoid the stores I had to go back through…I passed a lot of people who were also running…people who shouldn’t be running like business men, and a lady in high heels…but they were running too. I then noticed that I was only in my underwear and I thought, wow people must be thinking that they don’t see something like this every day. I was also surprised by how fast I could run. Somehow this made me sad so I ran faster, in my underwear. Crying. I never reached the car.

Most of my dreams are probably better categorised as nightmares. I have a number that occasionally recur in a broad sense.
One involves planes. I'm always standing on a bridge and I see planes in the sky. Then, one by one, they fall to the ground and crash. It's quite unsettling.
Another involves water - and I'm running from a great wall of water / tsunami which always inevitably catches up with me.
I also occasionally had dreams involving animals - not cats and dogs but working animals (horses, cattle etc). Often these dreams involved dead animals and were fairly stark. The most recent involved a galloping horse that bolted.
I've had vivid dreams, usually nightmares, since early childhood. I don't try to interpret them as, to me, they are what they are. I'm not a good sleeper and it is probably the interrupted sleep that helps me to remember more of these dreams than most.
More importantly, I suffer from sleep paralysis which has a much more "real" quality than a dream and has been very unsettling at times.

It really can be incredibly frightening. I try to understand it - in particular, what is it about some of us that causes this to happen.
For me, the presence that I feel in the room is always demonic. As a Catholic, I'm never certain what of these experiences can be partly explained in a rational, medical sense and what cannot.

Ciaran -- I've been meaning to ask you about the sleep paralysis, you had mentioned it to me before.
I had something like that happen a couple of months ago, I was napping in the middle of the day, kind of laying on my side when I felt like someone was leaning over me, pressing down with their upper body so I couldn't move. I was trying to call out for help, but of course, no sound would come out, it felt very real to me, like I was awake and could feel the pressure acutely.
Is that similar to what you have experienced? Or does yours not manifest with a "being" pressing down on you?
June - yes, that very definitely sounds like sleep paralysis to me and is often very similar to what I would experience. I usually feel like I am being held down and, although I struggle, I just cannot move. I assume that this is where the term "paralysis" comes from. I do try to call out but, again, am unable to.
Of course, I never see the person holding me down, other than a dark shadow. Occasionally, I do not have the "held down" feeling but still feel a sinister presence in the room and am unable to move. All-in-all, it can be very frightening as it all seems so real and, in at least some senses, it is all too real.
I'm interested in sleep paralysis and trying to understand why I suffer from it, esp. as it seems much more prevalent in some cultures than in others and, also, that the person / force that people belive is holding them down differs, presumably depending upon their own belief system - probably why I always assume / perceive a demonic presence whereas it may be different to those with other beliefs.

We did a little research on this in one of my psych classes...our bodies are immobilized during REM sleep. In cases of sleep paralysis, the person somehow is awakened before the end of the process...this doesn't give your body a chance to "come to" before you do. Often you are still not all the way out of it so you can experience visions or nightmares. Your eyes can see a chair in the corner but your brain isn't registering it as a chair...it can become a monster. If you are aware of the feeling of something on your chest, you can believe that someone is there holding you down. It is frightening.
Sleep paralysis can be caused by stress and can be a symptom of narcolepsy.

I dreamed I lived in a studio apartment with a lover and my parents.
I got up to make sure the doors were locked, and saw a man chasing another man in the street and yelling, "You have to love me!" I thought to myself, that gay couple is having a fight.
I continued locking the doors, and had a hard time with one of them. I moved on to the next door, and suddenly, the two guys from outside, plus a woman holding a burning pan of food, were standing in the apartment with me.
I sensed that they were extremely dangerous. "You have to get out," I said, and the woman said, "We just want to talk with you about something." I knew they planned to kill me and I yelled for my father.
I woke up yelling, "Dad!" I was so shaken, I couldn't remember where I lived. I thought the bedroom was the whole apartment. I couldn't remember who I lived with. My heart was pounding for a long time.
It's the worst dream I've had since college. I felt really anxious the next day.
My dad, in real life, is very sick and just had a stroke, but he's not in imminent danger of dying.
I think though, that as we lose our parents in middle age, the cushion we thought we were long over, is suddenly scary to lose.

Oh i'm so glad sleep paralysis got brought up!!!!
It's happened to me for many years. When it first started i was in nursing school and continued when i worked long hours in the hospital. I had a friend that was a neurologist and one day over lunch she educated me on it.
She said to think of it like this...your body is still asleep but your mind is awake. I know when it happens to me, i can open my eyes and see everything and sometimes i hear a roaring noise that is almost deafening and banging. What i do to get out of it is to focus and start moving one part of me, i usually concentrate on my toe for example. Once i can wiggle that a little i slowly will wake my body up. It is very hard to deal with and it is frightening. I also feel that i'm screaming to the top of my lungs and have been told i'm barely making a whisper. As soon as someone can touch me, my body wakes up and all is well. I have to always educate my partners to watch out for these little whimpers i make and to please just touch me.
Thankfully, i barely have them anymore and the neurologist did say that stress and being over tired brings these on more than anything.
Oh and deedarino is so right about the physiology of it all. It usually happens when you are first going to sleep or about to wake up. It has been studied for years and everything from epilepsy to demonology has been deemed the cause. But, i have been reassured it's just REM sleep patterns that are interrupted due to stress. Still scary stuff!!!!
So, basically if you are having them....chill out. You need rest and relaxation. Most likely near a beach. :)

I don't think anyone would argue against the view that sleep paralysis can be aggravated by stress and / or disrupted sleep patterns. I know from my own perspective that I have a reasonable amount of work-related stress and awake before 5am Monday to Friday for 14 hours+ of commuting and work. That takes its toll.
However, I think there's more to sleep paralysis than a simple scientific explanation - the fact that it is much more prevalent in certain cultures than others and how it manifests itself differently in some of these societies (Zanzibar being the perfect example). I think that how we experience sleep paralysis can probably inform much about our individual psyche.
All-in-all a fascinating topic ..... Although I will glady take your advice and spend some time by the beach !

Oh i agree Ciaran!!! It's very interesting to learn that it happens more times in specific cultures. It does raise the eyebrow, if you will. If it is just caused by stress, why doesn't everyone get it. I think there is much more to it as well. One thing i've noticed is that it seems to occur to people that are very intuitive, on the side of spirituality and paranormal. Of course this is just my personal observation and not a scientific one for sure. My granny had these for example and some around that part of the mountain thought of her as a witch.
Who knows right? And yeah spending more time at the beach will have plenty of benefits no matter if it helps our "episodes" or not.

there is a theory that you dream about what you want the most, and what you fear the most.
Sex ! bahahaha..
Seriously, what I used to dream about a lot was that I was in high school and I kept forgetting my combination to my locker or I was running late to class. Also, trying to out run a skunk and having to jump over a chain link fence. LOL!
Also dreams that woke me up of just falling.. I never knew where I was falling or if I hit bottom because I would just wake up in the middle of the fall.

Over the years I have had very vivid dreams,so much that I can smell, taste and feel whats going on and where I am.In my dreams often im on a dry lonely place searching for who knows what,in this journey I see things I cant reach, sounds I should hear but cant...then Bam right in the middle of it all im feelin all I hadnt before ...then its all gone again. In the end part I just sit and wonder what, when and why I feel like i'v run a long way and have more to go.
When I wake up im all sweaty, the bed is a mess and I feel like I have run till I couldnt any more..maybe I did.I dont have this one so much now but I really dont like it when I do.

Lucid dreams is dreaming and being aware that we are dreaming. Supposedly in the minutes of falling asleep and wake is when most lucud dreams occur.
I had a few books on dreams but i left them behind but i remember reading that dreams we remember the most are ones we should pay attention to.

I have always dreamed I am one of these:
a cowboy or secret agent or detective ... Sometimes I am an Indian. Also have several werewolf dreams per year when I wake up yelling and struggling. That scared a new lover pretty badly the first time she was in bed with me. After that, she knew a werewolf was after me and would roll over, go back to sleep. LOL! That was a few years into the relationship.
These dreams seem to be easy translations. When I was very small and had no one to play with, I made myself into these ficticious characters. Even now, this imagination has a way of always helping me out - it goes into auto-entertain. Also, werewolf is my favorite monster and when I rode bareback, I was pretending I was an Indian.
Years ago, a femme was having a terrible dream. I wanted so much to help her out by waking her up ... but couldn't for fear whatever was after her, would get me too. ;)

I had the weirdest, almost real like dream last night. .
I dreamt someone walked into our bedroom, came to my side of the bed, reached over me and began grabbing and strangling my partner. I couldn't move much as I was under the blankets and this person was over and on me to reach her. I couldn't say anything, nothing would come out of my mouth. I struggled and barely started to grab the person's hands and struggled for anything to come out of my mouth and then I woke up.
What the hell does this mean..

I don't know what it means but I have an interpretation of it.
I think your partner, because you are so close with her, might represent some part of yourself that you know you are sabotaging, but can't seem to stop doing so.
It could be a positive dream. It could mean that you are reaching that a state of conflict intense enough to prompt you to take action, and face that inner conflict, and resolve it.

Here's my completely unqualified interpretation.
Water is sexual, life-affirming, or about birth, beginnings, or being overwhelmed (or all of those things).
I think the guy you swam out to help is a part of yourself that you are letting go of.
Maybe it's a part that's connected with your masculine energy or maybe your subconscious just picked the man as a symbol because it was floating within reach, in your memory.
Anyway, you swim out to "rescue" or prevent the loss of that part of yourself, and what happens? It survives, and leaves the rest of you out to drown.
That part of yourself is ruthless. But ruthlessness might be just what you need right now.

Turtle, I checked out their ehtical statement and these two parts resonated with truth, to me:
ASD supports an approach to dreamwork and dream sharing that respects the dreamer's dignity and integrity; and which recognizes the dreamer as the decision-maker regarding the significance of the dream.
Systems of dreamwork that assign authority over, or knowledge of, the dream's meanings to someone who is not the dreamer can be misleading, incorrect, and harmful.
I would want anyone interpreting my dreams, to have those things in mind, and I'll try to do the same for anyone whose dreams I interpret.
I also realized, when I was roaming around the website you posted, that I treat dreams like literature; I do a kind of literary analysis on them, centered on imagery. I review poetry, so it's kind of the same skill set.
Now I'm not sure that's the best way to look at dreams. I'm thinking about that one...
But I love dreams! I have used them in creative work, for many years.

I frequently have dreams where I'm being chased by a bear...or a bear is trying to kill me. I had a dream where one barged in the house and pinned me on the stairs while trying to eat my daughter's cat :|
As a hiker, bears are a true concern of mine...but I have yet to see any in that given situation. AND I have enough sense to stay away from wild blueberry patches in June :)
I suppose if death by bear is my given destiny, it's a fitting end to a life I loved to spend in nature :) But I'm not in any hurry....

i have a super duper book here...also if you don't remember things in a dream they are not that important. Color is a huge key in dreams.. so make note of colors of things.
Example, the car may not be as important as the color of it..

Short nails in a dream indicates an unexpected gift
Dirt indicates a medical checkup is necessary.
So maybe a surprise gift while at a medical appointment?

I had a dream last night that was amazing...I'll put it out there as cohesive as I can. It seemed to flow when dreaming it but now I wonder how did all that come together.
My daughter lost a tooth in the middle of the night while taking a shower only it was one tooth and then she handed me like 5 more. they all had sand under them too. (just as I suspected she is a beach girl). I went looking for her because she left the shower running (mind you we were living in like a giant house with our own rooms/area but common bathrooms with other folks living there. It reminded me of an old hotel).
Then I went out, leaving my daughter with Stoney, to get tooth fairy money. Only to find myself aboard a giant raft like sight seeing boat on a a scenic tour of the fabulous rivers of the local areas. I was like oohh how amazing I've never been on these tours and we just moved to the area. They were very touristy. I think I better call and say I'll be late only no cell service on the river. And this tour is going to take all day. Now I didn't remember paying for the ticket but I got change back, the tour employee gave it to me in wads. And I got a special t shirt. Which I thought would be green like the other passengers (one who was hitting on me and others who were just wonderful to ooh and ahh with) but mine was white with orange lettering. I was super excited about it. It was a beautiful and amazing tour, interesting people and I loved the new shirt. In the end we were at a "planned tourist gift shop stop in our river tour" I ended up staying on the boat with a special needs passenger. No one asked me to but they just left her there. I stayed because well she needed support to be safe. I felt irritated that they didn't plan for her. I could see everyone enjoying the gift shop and I was thinking you humph as if she wouldn't enjoy it too.

Don't remember a lot of mine last night/this morning other than it was disjointed and I woke up at 5 to go to the restroom and it picked back up again when I settled back down.
There was a carnival type environment, but in a small apartment and my car in the dream (not my real car) had a hinky driver's door.
Lots of color in the party room part and kind of a wash for the rest, almost like sephia but not.
I woke up and my first thought was 'weird'. That's where I'm at now because I'm losing it pretty fast.

My dreams had an animal theme this morning.
In one, there was this rodent....a squirrel I think...that was being chased by a pack and a big cat. Don't ask how the big cat got in there; it just fit. A lioness I think or a sandy colored panther. Not sure. There was a Newf that I know came from our site here...from the picture posted not too long ago of a woman in a big fluffy coat next to a super dark Newfoundland. A German Shepherd and a bunch of mid-size dogs around the size of boxers and pitts but a mix of breeds. No ankle biters, though. Thank goodness; they would have gotten massively trampled.
Well, they were tearing after this poor thing and then the Shepherd stops between the rest of the pack and the squirrel, blocking them, and sits down on his haunches and picks the shaking, squirrel up with his paws as if they were hands, palms up. The squirrel is bloody. They all have streaks and smatters of bloods here and there on them. But it sits still in his paws and looks at him, fearfully, and just shakes. The Shepherd lets the squirrel go and it scampers up a tree and they all just disappear.
I had to pee and woke myself up. I was fully aware that I was dreaming but concentrating on trying to find the meaning behind it.
That was the end of the dream. It started waaay before then and was equally weird but that is the part of that section of dreaming that really stands out.
When I got back to sleep, I picked up at a place where you can do things with different animals. It reminded me of one of those pottery stores where you go in and you paint your pottery and they bake it for you. But with animals. And no baking.
So, I paid to take this peachy orange water creature out of water and put it in an aquarium I think. But I got distracted by something that caught on my sleeve. It was another sea creature that looksed like a wilted flower and stuck to me. I was using large tweezers to move the creature over and then used the tweezers on the flower thing. Then I got tired and I suddenly woke up in a room in the back of the facility and saw a clock that had the time 14:09. I was late. But I wasn't.
I woke up feeling like I was late but it was just after 6am. Weird.

I've had two nights of strange dreams....
Last night was:
I was traveling somewhere and it got late and I stopped to check into a motel. It was set up similarly to one that Teddy and I stayed in previously, with many building in a complex set over several acres.
I walked in and didn't turn on the light. I was tired and I brought my bag in and laid down on the bed. My phone rang and I answered and the voice was familiar, but I couldn't place who she was. She said to me that she was calling like I told her to. But I couldn't recall telling anyone to call me...So we talk for a while and then I say, I'm sorry, who is this?? And she hangs up.
So I decide to take a shower and go to bed...I get in there and the bathroom is somewhat messy...and I'm thinking after my shower I'm going to call the office to let them know. I turn on the shower and open the curtain and there are bloody towels on the floor of the tub. I freak out and run into the main room and suddenly I realize there are bloody footprints allllll over the carpet of the room. I open the door and run to the office and find that everyone there can't understand what I'm saying or they just won't listen... Thankfully I woke up from that one....
The night before was:
My oldest daughter, Clarissa, and I were driving in a tiny convertible car. We were having a fun day out together (which we don't do nearly enough these days) and we decided to take the train into Boston. So, I pulled up to the station and parked the car in one of the vestibules where people walk in to go underground to the station (This is not even nearly feasible, so it made me laugh thinking of it the next day) We got out of the car and our sofa was there in the vestibule. We had to wait for our train so we sat there and talked for a while. Strangely there were no other people around at all....
I procured some snacks somewhere and found this bag of chocolates that looked just like cocoa puffs but were actual candies. I told her she had to try them (she doesn't like chocolate, how I gave birth to her I will never know...recessive gene I guess) but before I could hand them to her, a breeze from the subway came up and blew the bag into the stairwell. I went to get it for her and told her only one candy fell out and the rest were still good. I handed them to her and we sat back on the couch and it flipped over and we and the candy spilled everywhere.....then I woke up...

Last night...
I dreamed my daughters and I were on a road trip. We stopped at a nice restaurant for dinner, sat down, got our drinks and ordered. We talked for a while. Then we realized our food wasn't coming. I told them we would wait another 15 minutes. Then I told the waitress if the food wasn't there by the hour, we were leaving. She told me we had no where else to go...she overheard us talking about our schedule. :|
Meanwhile, we realize there is an ice cream parlor in the restaurant. We were starved so we went over and got ice cream. After the lady served us she disappeared. As did everyone in the entire place. We couldn't find our waitress...so we left. And when we got in the car THEN someone came out...and chased us down for our drink bill...lol
Early this morning....
I was in a strange room. There was a strange animal in the room that someone was chasing around trying to catch. It climbed the TV and adhered to the screen. I finally got a good look at it. It was a puffed out little grey kitten...but it had a sharp barbed tail. I put a baby sock over its tail to keep it from stinging anyone.... Then I woke up...
I had ONE glass of wine...not one BOTTLE....I swear...

flash to a living room somewhere....I'm sitting with women I obviously know somehow.....they have taken the center apart and it's in the apartment.....suddenly this big guy is there and he wants his money back....he's a slobby kind of guy and creeps me out.....we refuse and try to evict him from the apartment......I still don't know whose apartment it is or if the money really does belong to couch potato guy when some mob type guy makes an appearance
we're no longer in the apartment....the mob guy threatens us with some typical Godfather knockoff innuendos...then he's gone.....then we're inside a glassed office like you would find in a hospital or doctor's off....couch potato guy is being rushed by on foot surrounded by 4 women that are scrubbing him with back scrubbers and he's all soaped up....no rubber ducky in sight
Anyone care to make heads or tails of that one?

Lately, I've been having some massively weird dreams. Like cinn, I tend to dream weird when I'm sleeping well. It's like my body was so used to working hard to sleep that now that I'm actually sleeping, my body has to do something else too. It can't just sleep.

The other night I dreamed that I was working for an agency and they were giving me my schedule..
But instead of talking to me directly (I was in the room with them) they were talking to someone else about me...
They told this person "Oh we are going to send her back to so and so's. They seemed to be a good fit." And instantly I had specific memories (in the dream) about visiting this client. And I said that would be fine...but they carried on as if I weren't even there.

I dreamed I was flying somewhere on business. 3 of us were randomly selected out of the group of like 40 and offered the chance to fly privately on the personal jet of the company CEO.
Naturally, we all accepted. We boarded the plane (we were flying overseas somewhere) and readied ourselves for a long flight. The pilot announced that due to air traffic patterns, after takeoff we would need to fly upside down for a while.
I was not pleased. (In real life, however, I actually love flying; and I feel quite confident that I would be totally okay with it). We took off straight up in the air and as it turns out, the entire top of the jet was glass. As the plane flipped over into position, I had to hold onto my seat to stay in place and we were over the sea!
The water looked so blue and calm and fathomless. The jet suddenly looked from the outside like one of those fighter stunt planes you see doing maneuvers at the air shows.
And that's all I remember, lol. It was cool! Flying dreams are supposed to be good, as I understand. Of course, I was upside down, so maybe that means the opposite, lol. Anyway, it was fun. I read somewhere that Freud said flying dreams are a sign that the dreamer needs to get laid, but I cannot verify the accuracy of that statement - that he actually said it, I mean; lol, I'm not referring to whether or not I am currently getting any.

I dreamed last night that I was living where I am now, but both my dogs were here...
At dusk one night they both were going nuts at the door, and I figured someone had knocked and I hadn't heard. Cricket was always one for going a little overboard with unexpected noises...(bless her heart...she was a Jack Russell mix)
SO...I opened the door and there's no one there...but the dogs are still going bullshit and they take off down the adjacent road...my daughter is suddenly with me (the oldest) and we take off after the dogs trying to catch them...
All of a sudden, on the horizon I see two huge UFOs taking off from the field down the street. I stop my daughter and turn her around because she is looking the other way. I just want confirmation that I'm seeing what I'm seeing. And she just stands there staring. We are frozen in fear and return home forgetting about the dogs for now.
Later that night, I keep looking out to see if they've come home, but only a large, orange, fluffy tabby cat shows up...
Now I have to worry about Jacques chasing UFOs... :seeingstars:

One of my many dreams last night consisted of me being in prison... I think.
I was in line for the showers at first. When it came to be my turn, I couldn't find an empty shower. Then I realized I had no towel, clean clothes, shampoo, or anything to shower with. So I started looking around in the showers and saw another woman with a key. I said that I forgotten my key and would she let me into where my locker was and she said no. I told her I needed my stuff and she still refused. But then she decided to give me some shampoo and stuff. I told her I still needed a towel and clean clothes but yet she didn't care. So I went looking for a shower stall, finally found one. It was like searching for something that was so hard to find. Then, I saw a bunch of hand towels. I asked someone what they were for and they said they were to dry your feet. So I grabbed three of them because I would make do. Then I woke up. Never got my shower or clothes... hmmmm

Last night I dreamed that kitten Little learned to fly...
I took her outside for a walk with Jacques (we do this once a day when the weather is good) and she was following along like she usually does, but then chased after a bird and suddenly flew off after it. I was looking up at the sky and there were SO many birds flying I couldn't see which one was the kitten....
Then, I looked down the road and there she is...sitting in the road...apparently all tired out from flying...she suddenly was as tiny as she was the day I found her. Then, of course, a bus starts heading right towards her. And I start running to get her but she is so far away. The bus swerves at the last minute to avoid hitting her and I finally get to her and take her home...
I woke up in a panic looking for her after that dream and she was right on my pillow, fast asleep...no flying for her....like ever.

I dreamt that my intense gall bladder pains came back, but it was on my left side. The person who was with me in my dream (no ides who) grabbed me before i fell to the ground. Apparently she was a doctor also, because she started to examine me, and told me that my liver (which is also on my left sidr in.the dream) is being poisoned by my gall bladder, because my gall bladder was excreting chemicals. So, she wanted to do surgery on me right away. She pulled out her scalpel, but i stopped her and said "arent you going to put me under?" And she said,'oh, you can feel this?" I told her yes. So then she pulled out a syringe and filles it up with anesthesia and injected me. She asked if i was u der and to countdown. I remember being happy, cause being put under meant good sleep and no pain. As soon as i was under, i woke up.........

I had more than one dream involving being kidnapped, and one about attending a support group called "twat". One of the kidnappings took place in the medieval time period, and I escaped by finding some kind of wormhole into the future with one other woman. A married couple took us in and they had an entire closet full of cereal boxes.

I had a dream that I was back in high school, and my brother and I were killed in a school shooting in the commons area. It was very strange because the only reason that I knew I had been killed was because I was visiting a friend in the hospital who had also been shot in the head, and she is the person who told me that my brother and I did not make it. I guess I must have been visiting her in spirit form...ha.
Anyway, after she told me that, I started thinking about my parents and how devastated they would be. I think I must have really cried in my dream because when I woke up my eyes were kind of puffy. Not cute.
It was disturbing.

The being kidnapped, you're kinky. Then the "twat" group, again, kinky. "Wormhole" kinky, especially with another woman in the wormhole. The cereal was really one of those tricky dream messages that really meant "serial". That's why it was "full of cereal". Being a serial closeted person sucks, but when it is full of "boxes" well, we all know what that means. ;)

Okay, so my dream from this morning. Prepare yourselves.
My parents and I were in a mountain cabin and my (still alive) dad was trying to hook up online with someone and my (deceased) mom was being needy and clingy....emotionally and physically.
Kind of apropos actually.
Cue the weird, creepy someone's coming to get you music.
We were driving and dad got pulled over. Cop was a creepy, small town cop by day and serial killer by night kind of guy.
Back to the cabin.
My parents were lying on a mattress on the floor and I went to the door but the glass was busted out of sections of it and the morning wind was blowing in. I remember feeling afraid; knowing that the door would not protect us. The door was a faded cornflower blue color. That really stuck with me for some reason.
Side note: I'm probably about 8 or so in the dream. I was in an ankle length, long sleeved white nightgown for the whole dream, even during the day.
We're driving back home from the cabin and we're on a road with a forest running along side of it and I see a massive black bear running parallel to the car's path. The bear's right side is completely ripped open and I see blood and his rib bones. He's terrified and I get the feeling you get at the end of scary movies, when you know it's not over (and a sequel is likely). I knew that I had a right to be afraid and felt a little hopeless when I woke up.
Very creepy movie vibe throughout the whole dream. There was more but that's all I got notes on and all I can remember now.
ETA: The bear has been in other dreams. Always running, always torn up, always afraid.

I don't remember the content of my dream last night, but I know it wasn't good.
All I remember is the end of it. I was in a panic to hurry up and call 911. I was looking at my phone desperately willing it to dial faster. Just holding my breath until I heard a voice on the line. I remember a lot of chaos around me and just being focused on this task.
I woke up before I heard that voice answer and I was groping around searching for my phone.

I had the strangest but most pleasant dream last night. I was sleeping and then I just sat up and was sitting on the edge of my bed in my new place using the telephone (which is not hooked up yet) to try and contact a friend of mine.
I ended up getting him on the phone via a third party (with whom we are both acquainted in real life) and we discussed business for a minute because although that wasn't really the point of the call and we both knew it, we were each trying to be polite. After that was wrapped up, I sat quietly and listened while he just talked to me for a while. His voice was so soothing to me in this dream for some reason, but I can't remember what he was saying.
And it was just so odd because I could literally hear his voice just as clearly as though we were having a real world conversation and it was his particular pitch, tone, and specific accent exactly like how he sounds in person.
After a while, we both fell silent with the phone lines remaining open and had a long telepathic communication where we conversed on a spiritual sort of level and we were both very relieved and glad to be back in touch as it had been a while since we had spoken.
It was so vivid.
So what was that about? Astral visit?

Not a crazy dream...Just a dream. I was in an unknown persons home asleep on the couch. The only light came from the tv which had no sound. Someone walked into the room and stood over me. I could only see a darkened figure. She whispered things to me but I never really heard the words. It felt as though she needed to say these things...more so for her and not for me. She walked out of the room and came back with a small suitcase. She again stood over me and whispered briefly. I wanted to roll over and see this woman but I couldn't move. I felt at peace when I woke.

It's comforting to read this dream. It feels like letting go—of a part of yourself, or something outside yourself. Whatever it is you're letting go of, you also have closure. All good.

Okay so I had the strangest dream last night and I remember it so vividly. I was back in high school, as a mature student but in a real high school, in a class when the fire alarm rang. Everyone files out of the building except me and 5-6 other students who all ran down into some sort of basement. I guess that's where the shops classes were and two of the students, young men, had built some sort of machine they wanted to save Incase of fire. Well we come to find out there's no fire it's a bomb in the school - so everyone else runs out, I'm trying to run but my legs couldn't move (extreme slow motion and I'm literally freaking out) while the guys are trying to rescue this machine thing. One guy gets out just moments before the bomb explodes; the second guy and myself are pushing this machine out as fast as possible and we JUST get far enough out of the building before it explodes - but here's the funny thing about the explosion, it wasn't just a regular bomb it was a nuclear bomb so we all just stand there watching this bomb explode and that's about when I woke up.
I can still see the dream in my head it was that vivid :|

I still ran down the stairs after him but he found a hole in a screen and slid down tge building to the ground. Oddly, he was growing as he went and now looked like a young anaconda...

OMFG, did I have some crazy dreams this morning!!! I only slept fitfully for about two and a half hours so I'm not sure how my brain did this much dreaming, but it did.
Dream #1: I was homeless again and really hungry and desperate for food. It was late at night and nothing was really open but I found this tiny dive of a fast food burger joint. I went in and there were no people, including no employees. The concept was that they cooked your burger for you and then you put everything you wanted on it out in the restaurant (if you can even really call it that) part of the place. Kinda like a salad bar. So there was food out and no one looking so I stole some and left.
I was out in the parking lot and there were two other homeless people who were going in there to steal food, but they were a lot older than me, and haggard looking, and kind of like what you might stereotypically think a homeless person. Anyways, what I ended up stealing was a bag of four kiwis, which makes no sense in the context of burgers but whatever.
So, then--this woman comes flying out of the restaurant into the parking lot, she was the owner, and she just started attacking the three of us and being really shaming over the fact that we were homeless in a very mean way. I yelled at her in defense of the two elderly homeless folks and beat her in the face with the bags of kiwis. Then I felt bad.
Ok, these dreams will be posted in stages LOL.

Boy did I have a weird one this morning. We were in the country at my grandparents' old house, and I was going to go fishing with who started out to be my brother. My brother turned into other people throughout the dream - some I recognized, some I did not.
We grabbed our fishing poles and headed out into the woods. All of the sudden we walk up on a little brown bear cub. It was very cute, but then I started getting nervous because I knew the mom had to be somewhere nearby.
We saw the mama bear further out and she started charging us, so we took off running. She caught up to us. We were cornered and she was roaring at us. I decided that maybe if we threw her some food, she would like us and not want to kill us. I started throwing cheese crackers at the bear (seriously lol). Well, it worked! The mama bear came over and sat down by us, and I started petting her. She had the softest fur that I had ever felt.
At this point, we decided it was best to go back to the house, so off we went. I was carrying the bear cub on my hip like a toddler and the mama bear was walking along with us. However now we have the addition of this large golden dog that was groomed to look like a lion (mane and tail). The dog also had extremely soft fur.
We get back to the house and my family is all there talking in the living room and they were basically like...why do you have a bear and lion with you? I explained that the dog was not a lion, but just groomed to look like one. They seemed fine with that explanation like it was completely normal. Before I woke up, I was lying on the floor petting the lion-dog's mane.

You're vegetarian even in your dreams? That's actually kind of cool.

I had a dream that I lived with some woman, and she came home while I was asleep and tossed out all my soup that was cooking because "she didn't know"...
now, after the events of today, I interpret that dream to be "you're not eating your soup"
I cooked my irish soup (craibachan) .... and it was fine.. and withing the 5 minutes of moving burners, the entire bottom burned and the smell and taste penetrated the whole of the soup making it completely inedible.....
grrrrrrrr. very grrrrrrrr. I should have stuck with corned beef and cabbage.

Yep. :) I think once you've been a vegetarian for 25 years, your mind just doesn't even think to dream another way. (I feel incredibly old now saying how long I've been a vegetarian. Omg.)

For some reason, our conversation reminds me of an interview I saw. It was back in the day (picture it: Sicily......or sometime in 1995) when Elizabeth Berkley was in Showgirls and the one thing she said really freaked her dad out wasn't the nudity and the subject matter of the film; it was that she ate a burger in it since she's been a vegetarian for forever.

I almost always dream. I had a period of a few years with not much dreaming but I dream nearly every morning now. Most of the time, I can't remember what I dream beyond a few minutes after I wake up but this morning's dream is still sticking with me in bits and pieces.
My dreams are typically sporadic and sliced and diced scenes and this was no exception. In this dream, there were Canadians, someone who represented an ex (I didn't recognize this at first. I was just really comfortable with the person.), chickens escaping from indoor fencing and a REPRINT button. Reprinting as in meaning how animals can print humans as their parents, for example. I was aware of what the button meant, although I did not discuss it with anyone in the dream. We, whoever we were, were in the middle of moving it appeared. Also there was a sled inside the house, which felt more like a laboratory than a home.
Weird, even for me.

I also had an interesting dream. By interesting, I mean it took me over half an hour of listening to thrasher and ass-kicking music to shake the feeling of it off. There were a lot of people that I know and/or used to know and I don't even know if some of them are still alive. It was almost apocalyptic and we were in this closed government office building and there were wires and things that looked bomb-ish connected to the toilets so we were trying to find other ways to use the bathroom (this part I understand because I had to go really bad when I woke up) and some woman accused me of rifling through someone's desk drawer (which I copped to) and using their rouge (which I did not do). Weird all the way around.

I was at work and one of the guys I worked with was in a glass office with his boss who was giving him a quarterly review. I looked over and gestured to give some moral support to my coworker. I had a feeling it was going to be a bad meeting because this boss was reknowned as an infamous jerk around the office.
A little later, as I was getting ready to leave for the afternoon, I grabbed a notebook and looked over again to wave goodbye and noticed the boss pacing, and yelling at my coworker who was standing casually by a window, arms folded. I made another surreptitious gesture of support and solidarity and became very angry when I suddenly noticed the boss - who had a big mustache like in the 80s - was smoking furiously.
Then, in my own self-righteous indignation, I looked down and noticed a flaming cigarette in my own hand! I looked up and saw a sign that said "No fumar" with a picture of a cigarette and a circle with a line through it. This was odd only because I'm not Spanish so upon awakening I wondered why I'm suddenly dreaming in a language I don't speak very well.
Anyway, so I ran to the stairwell where fumar was apparently allowed, lol, and finished my cigarette. Then I went to my friend's house because there were two dirty square glass vases in the kitchen sink and I really wanted to wash them. They had sticky notes on them and one of the sticky notes said "Tommy." I don't know anyone named Tommy, so whatever.
Then I left and went to borrow the same friend's boat which was actually a bathtub - like one of those claw foot types. I got in the boat and took it out in the ocean. It was going very fast but didn't have a motor and I passed some people who looked familiar - I recognized one from my sangha - who were in their own boats.
Then my notebook and something else fell out of the boat. I wanted to look over the tall sides of the tub, but when I did it almost tipped over. I remember being very terrified at that time and I said to myself, "Smiling, you are on the ocean and you will die if you don't get serious about driving this bathtub."
I noticed a drain plug where a drain plug would normally be located in an old tub. I also vaguely remember thinking to myself what would happen if I pulled it out.
My seriousness overcame my fear and and I became hyper focused on piloting the vessel, but then the phone rang and woke me up and it was my friend whose vases I had washed in the dream calling. I recounted the dream and we both laughed so hard.
It was kind of a fun dream - it felt like I was in a cartoon - even though it wasn't animated and it was really scary at that one point where I stared my impending death in the face, lol.

I don't always wake and remember my dreams, but this morning I did and it's stayed with me.
My family had a shepard when I was growing up and she was smart, protective and I never minded taking her for walks. Anyhow, in my dream, we were on some kind of trail. She was off her leash and we heard voices, saw people, she took off running. I called to her to come back, she stopped, looked at me and went running again. She wanted me to follow her, but then I woke up. Not much of a dream, but I know it means something.

Last night I had a doozy....
so...
I had a very hot, very butch boss when I used to work at Home Depot many moons ago....
Last night I dreamed I was helping her reorganize her closet. It had a great footprint but was being used all wrong. Apparently I was a designer because I was planning a reconfiguration of the walkin and bathroom...I guess I watch too much DIY tv....
anywho...
As I'm plugging along I find a STACK of unopened boxer brief packages (which...I happen to know she wears....I just know..) From the floor, the pile was literally almost as tall as me...which isnt saying much but still...
THEN as I'm going along I started to find pretty frilly things. Bikini bottoms and such. She WAS a woman that could rock a bikini....
I dont really know where the dream was going...definitely not where I wanted it to....lol but it was still nice to see my long ago crush...even if it was in a dream <3

I don't always remember my dreams but I do have some I wish I didn't have. Lately they have been about people who have been in my life that in one way or another wasn't good for me, in these dreams they aren't even in the order they came in my life its like they fade in and out repetedly. I'm thinking why now?? They are and have been long gone for years, yes, they hurt me deeply but I'm not glutton for punishment...be gone all of you, I have made the mistakes of knowing all of you, I still have the mental scars from it all and have learned my lesson in trusting people who haven't earned the right to be in my life.

Last night I had a dream that I died. My family was at the house we lived in growing up and that my ex and I lived in after my dad died. I was sick and they said today would be the day. They cut these things out of my throat and I was carrying them in my hand. I was talking to my younger sister (she's my beneficiary on my annuity) and I told her I wanted her to take some of money and have me cremated and my ashes to be scattered around the firepit and the rest to be scattered at a beach and she could take her boys and have a vacation. Then I was talking to my older brother and told him he could have my jeep but I wanted him to keep it in the family. He said he didn't want it.
Then I saw my cousin who is dead and she was waving to me to come with her. I ran to the house and my family was leaving and no one could hear or see me. I tried talking to my nephews but nothing.
I woke up more than a little disturbed and even got a bit choked up when telling my mother about it. She said maybe it's a premonition. I'd better get my affairs in order.

My dream was bizarre in normal ways if that makes any sense.
The first thing I saw was yearbook from a college, with the picture of a woman (butch) in it. I could describe the woman out to a T but I don't think I have ever seen her in real life.
In the next scene me and the woman were walking through some kind of tropical marketplace on some sort of vacation together. In my dream I had the sense that we were in a serious relationship.
At the market, we picked out two rings. Both of the rings we selected had porcelain babies affixed to them. Her "baby ring" had odd flat horns on it. I remember thinking that that was weird. As I looked down at my ring...I woke up.
I had this dream about 2 months ago, when i was sleeping on the outdoor serenity deck of a cruise, after heavy meditation. It is the only dream that I have ever completely committed to memory.

I was sitting in a psychology 101 class I had to take in college. Up until a few years ago, very often I always had dreams of flying.
I had not read the chapter assigned for this night in particular. The instructor guided the discussion to dreams and what they mean. A couple of people shared their dreams. Then I shared all about my flying dreams in great detail ... about how I would go way above the telephone poles and then do nose dives toward the ground, pull up just in time and then soar even higher ... telling how exhilerating it was for me ... and that I always woke up feeling super refreshed after my flying dream ... people were kind of giggling and snickering as I elaborated ... I finished and happened to turn the page in our book. It described flying dreams to be sexual in nature and also closely connected to orgasm. I wanted to fucking well die!!! LOL!
I still have flying dreams but not as often. I used to think about sex, sex, sex all the time every day. Happy that burden has lifted somewhat. It was way too intense for me not to mention emotionally unhealthy.
Off that dream subject but another type of dream I have I would like to mention ...
When I have a horrible nightmare that I seem unable to get out of without waking up yelling, sweating and thrashing, 99% of the time I have eaten spicy food after 9:00 p.m.

Well, the elevator seemed to be malfunctioning and in was going to look for the stairs. Suddenly it chimed like they do when they arrive and the doors opened. "Harrison" was excited not to do stairs and I looked into the elevator and all it was was the shaft. The car was missing. Harrison was intrigued and went to look and promptly fell over the edge to his death.

Last night I dreamnt I was pregnant. I went to the doctor and he told me so...
As soon as he told me I could start feeling the baby move....it felt just like it did with the girls...
In my dream I was scared because
1. I had no idea how I GOT pregnant
2. I still had 3 years of school to finish
3. I'd be doing it totally alone
4. I rather like my life as it is
However...as the dream progressed I got happy about it. It was a boy and I've never had one before lol. Then I started thinking about all the things I did in the past months. Hiking, cleaning, the occasional beer, chemicals I used...my brain is HUGELY logical...even in dreams.
I decided he was a gift from god or the universe or whatever and I told the universe I was going to name him Sawyer. I like that for a boy's name lately.

She was completely diminutive. I was actually worried about putting her down. She was so funny. Her head seemed even tinier than the rest of her. It was very peculiar.
And in the same dream, my mom and brother came to visit at a house that I didn't recognize. My brother was on a cell phone (which he doesn't actually use one...he's old school) calling out to work so he could visit longer. My mom was sitting on my deck watching the sunset and asking if my property line began at the onion trees...

Okay, I've been dreaming like crazy lately but they've gone POOF! before I can even try to dissect them and figure them out.
Until now.
Sooo....apparently, I'm walking around a world style food market with a cranky, old woman and she's being all negative nelly and actually does the wicked witch hand movement (hand raised palm forward with fingers clenched in a bit...think Wizard of Oz and "I'll get you, my pretty!"...) so I finally have enough and I ditch her but then I find new, happier people to hang with at this market.
Want to wager a guess?
Because I never would have guessed it myself.
Ryan Seacrest.
And some mysterious cool chick.
We're hanging out and Ryan gives me his phone to enter my number in but I can't see. The screen's too dark and it's a flip top from the 90s in a leather case/condom. He won't help me but he doesn't take his phone back either. The alarm went off when we were walking down an aisle with fruits and Ryan hopped up onto a display.
I woke groggy and discombobulated.
Before the world market thing, I was in the same place but there were rows of chairs lined up and people were watching a movie or premier or something. That part's really fuzzy, not that Ryan Seacrest planting his scrawny butt on some mangoes gives me clarity either.

I had a doozie this morning...
So...
I was on my way to a new hiking spot and I recognized that the street I was told to park on was a former client's street. As I get to the end where they live, I see something is going on in the neighborhood and there's no parking to be had. I'm turning around and I see the client and her daughter down the street.
Ad I'm turning around I see something in the road and I get out. It looks like a squished kitten but longer...so I'm looking at it trying to figure out what it is and someone comes over. she says that the poor thing has been there for a week and a half. While we're talking it suddenly moves...I was astounded that the neighborhood drove around it and stepped over it rather than helping. But I picked it up and very abruptly tell the person I'm taking it to the vet....
Later that night...
I'm out for dinner with a large group, only one of which I recognized, and I'm telling them about the cat (it ended up being a cat). Well, the cat took a human form and came to dinner with me. Since they were sitting right there (their gender wasn't obvious to me) I had to talk around the bad stuff.
As an addendum...my friend I recognized at the table now had a British accent and was talking about getting her "rainbow spirit" from her mother.
It was a doozie

Well twice now I dreamt I ate no meat and in one dream I was living on a beach in a tiny weird shack or whatever and I was drinking green smoothies and talking to some old lady. In the other dream I was crying because I couldn't find a replacement for cheese and I was making a pizza. There were like 10 parrots flying around and people there I didn't recognize. This dream opens on a high mountain, on the protruding edge of a cliff. I am crawling toward the edge. I look behind me and see my family cowering together in fear, inside a cave. When I get to the edge, a very powerful voice tells me to jump. I look down and see a dark and endless abyss below. The mighty voice tells me to jump again, and I do! When I open my eyes, I am laying on a beach looking at an old man in white, pointing his finger out at the ocean. I look to see what he is pointing at, and I see another mountain rising up out of the water. I wake up. A Native American Interpretation- The eternal quest of the spiritual warrior.

so I fought it off with my clipboard...
then it stopped and I threw some acorns at it...
then I saw an orange on the ground... half moldy....
I picked it up ...threw it at the turkey...who smelled it and walked away....
oddly enough there were some dads with kids around...

I brushed againest a spiderweb in my dream tonight, and a spider-like bat-like creature shot out of the web at my face. I put up my hand, and it attached itself to my palm, and was biting it. I screamed for help because it would'nt let go. I tried to get it off my hand. Woke up. Maybe I will find the meaning of this halloween nightmare, and what's been bugging me later. Made a pot o coffee to wake up faster lol.

Last night involved multiple occurrences of a re-occurring dream where I look in the mirror and my hair is a lot longer than it really is and I get really happy and excited.
Then I dreamed I was in a cooking competition competing agaist some 10 year old kid and I was making sushi and it wasn't coming out well and the kid kept coming over to my station and messing with my set up. :sushi:

Huge, stately trees were falling all around my house, and each time I thought they were going to crush me they didn't, and I survived and felt stronger. One of them caught on fire, nearly burning up everything in my driveway but missing, and I watched it burn all the way down to nothing and felt even stronger that I made it through all of that. . .

I had a dream there were zombies in the world and people mostly existed with them. Sometimes they would have an episode and attack people...but it didn't really run people's lives that they were there.
So one day there's a zombie attack in my town. Everyone's going to safety. I, for whatever reason, am at the mall. On a bike. So I'm in the mall and trying to escape zombies. I see my boss (in my dream he's the big black guy from the movie Dave...he played his secret service agent that likes sweater vests but feels his neck is too big)
Any way my boss is in trouble with the zombies so I cruise by on my bike and tell him to get on. So he does. And we drive until there's a big metal gate and we can't to any further. Then we turn around and have to negotiate the zombies that have followed us then suddenly I'm outside and I ride my bike home. Its a house I've never seen. Inside is a family I don't know but they're mine. I go to the basement (of course!) and check that everything is secure. My parents are very nonchalant. I tell my dad there's a door that won't latch and ask him to fix it. He thinks I'm being too reactionary. Ok fine. You have your brains eaten dad. I'll watch.
I can say I played a zombie game with my daughter. Other than that...no friggin clue

Last night I dreamt I was the keeper/protector of a tiny little blue bird. By little I mean the size of a moth.
It escaped the house and was flitting around the outdoors . ..and of course every predator possible came to try to devour it.
There was a patch of raspberries (my favorite fruit) and I was distracted by picking them and eating them. There was a ton! At one point I had to throw some raspberries at a blue jay who had the little bird in its mouth about to eat it. The ploy worked; he dropped the bird and ate the raspberries
Then suddenly we were on a high rise ( and I hate heights) and it was like some horrible keystone capers. I was going out on boards to get my wayward bird ..etc.
I woke up tired from my dream lol
The high rise thing I maybe can attribute to watching Roger Rabbit recently and the intro where he's trying to keep the baby safe...
I don't know. I swear I don't do drugs...

My dream was a bit dark. I was with someone who was trying to help me (think roughed up but still a good guy) and we were effectively trapped in the apartment of my former partner, I think a husband. I knew he was abusive and I knew there was a child in the mix, around 12 to 14. I had memories of her and there were pictures of her but she was not in the apartment. Probably at school.
So we were in the apartment and we couldn't leave without being seen so my helper guy went to look for an alternative exit and I was looking for some sort of documentation but then I had to pee.
There was no bathroom (that I could find) so I wound up peeing in a back closet. As I peed, I looked down and my urine was more blood than pee. At that point, I realized that I was very sick and dying and that's why we took the chance to go to the apartment to get the paperwork which would, in some way, protect the child since I wouldn't be there to protect her much longer.
We then crawled up onto the roof and tree hopped across the lawn, then scaled down one of the smaller ones and were in a car when we could see that my ex was back in the apartment.
I don't know if we got the documentation we needed because I woke up then.

I had a doozey the night before last but it's mostly gone now. I have a lot of spy/secrecy/Jason Statham kind of dreams in a row and then nothing for a while and it was one of those type things but absolutely unrealistic or reasonable. There were mythical beasts (Maybe my subconscious is telling me to go see JK Rowling's new movie?) mixed with present day tech and some 30s and 40s gangster movie lingo. Weird. Kind of fun. But weird.

Idk where the dream came from except right before bed I watched Gilmore Girls (to undo the harm I did in starting Walking Dead) and it was the episode where Rory and Jess start their relationship. Awkwardly. I found that MORE stressful emotionally than zombies and entrails. Hated Rory with Jess...

I've been having some doozies at work because I sleep in spurts.
I had a very vivid dream that my clients husbAnd came home from his business trip in the middle of the night and turned the tv on downstairs and woke us up. Its so odd when you wake up from sleeping in a dream while you're still sleeping
I also had a dream where I was up on hill or balcony or something and I was looking over. I saw my late cousin walking with someone. He looked more serious than I ever saw him be in life. But then he'd occasionally smile his same smile.
Its very odd that he was walking with someone I couldn't see. My mother went to a psychic and he said David is with an older man on the other side. He's of Cherokee descent so I figured it must be an elder since his father is still living.
I'm sure there's more but I don't remember them for long lately

This was a long nightmare that opened with me being a homeless young man looking for a place to squat for awhile. An older man waved at me to come into a tall, long-deserted, warehouse/factory. Once inside, he said I could not leave until America was great again. No matter how hard I tried to escape, I could not, and this seemed to go on and on. I also saw a big fire had started, after he was trying to run me over with a heavy piece of machinery on wheels. Suddenly, I saw that another homeless man had opened a big door on the ground floor, from the outside and finally I was free. Then I saw that he had gotten shot in the doorway, and died. I woke up.

I was losing my job but there was another position open in a different department. I had to go to a training. I was wearing a pair of lilac high heels. I was stumbling around and fell into this lady's desk and messed up her work. I offered to go get her lunch. On the way there I offered to get a second woman's lunch. She wanted two cheese coneys with light cheese. When I went to order I couldn't remember what the first one wanted. I got the hotdogs which were foot longs and started back. I was upset about forgetting the first lunch order and I was trying to find the lady but couldn't and lunch was almost over. I dropped one of the hotdogs. I stopped to talk to a guy who was crying and he was telling me about his girlfriend cheating on him and asked if I knew a man named Woody. I asked if he use to hang out with so and so. Then I realized the guy I was talking to died a few months ago and I woke up feeling distressed. Very odd.

Last night in my dream I was traveling with my mom , my gf, and her familiy.
During the travels I discovered that my gf and her brother were killing people along the way with these big butcher knives. The way I found out about it was that I saw my gf and her brother coming back covered in blood giving me the shhh look.
So after the last stop I told mom that we were going our own way and I planned our escape.
I woke up scared so I moved all the way over in bed next to the baby kitty to get away from the "warm spot".

Last night I kept dreaming that I was in this old broken down trailer, and it caught fire. It was a slow burning fire. Each time I had to leave a room because the fire got close, that room would start to burn. I was really wheezy last night and in my dream I was struggling to breathe. In my dream I would go outside and people would be telling me to get my stuff. I grabbed my paperwork and set it on outside of the door, but would go back in. While inside I am sitting at a table trying to do some paperwork. I finally just work up and didn't go back to sleep.
I looked this up in my Dream interpreting book and it says:
The fire is an omen of an impending trouble if it burned you, if you did not get burned the news is good. To observe a house that is on fire forecast and urgent appeal for help from a close family friend or relative
Per the book; to dream that you lived in a trailer home suggest that you feel unimportant and worthless. It also means that you were willing to take on any challenge and are able to adapt to any situation.

When this first happen to me I had to slap myself to make sure I wasn't going crazy.I woke up feeling someone or something laying on top of me. Happen every night for one week and each time this entity woke me up it felt to me less and less weight. Like the first time I felt like its "whole body" on me and buy the fifth night it felt like only its top upper torso pressing down on me.It was not sexual in any way, that's how I took it,but it wanted something. It felt like a nightmare I could not wake up from, truly a scary experience. It came back a few more times and I took some drastic measures and finally succeeded driving this being out of my life.
I gave more detail about this to people who study the paranormal and was told a succubus had made contact with me.I am not a sis male but I do have strong male tendencies.I also believe in the native American two-spirit and this thing whatever it was simply mistook me for a man. Can't say it be the first time I was identified that way..in this world and the spirit world.

Most nights I have a very real dream that I'm at work taking care of patients. Wake up with a start truly believing that I fell asleep at work endangering a critical patient. I wake up and start getting out of bed. My Partner needs to talk me down and convincing that We are in bed and that I am caring for a critical patient. Sometimes that takes awhile. Lately, I have been waking in a disoriented state. This morning, I woke in a strange place with my Partner looking very different. She was Asian, and She doesn't have any Asian blood. Turned my head looked back, and She was Herself.
Afraid to go see a neurologist. What if it's Alzheimer's or another organic brain disease. Scared to see a shrink...maybe I'm going crazy. Afraid to tell my psychiatrist friend, she might diagnose me with some weird disorder. I mean, I'm already OCD, a major germaphobe (after work, used to take bleach in the shower with me) and agoraphobic.

I HATE that!
Probably something you feel out of control about, I'd say.

I had borrowed a piece of clothing from one of my sisters and messed it up somehow. I also borrowed a pink dress with no sleeves from my aunt. There was a string hanging and it kept bothering me. I discovered the string was attached to the belt which was made up of little ropes and twisted to make a belt. The string was stained from chili. My older sister then pointed out that I have a chili stain across the front of the dress by the belt. My sister found a tag that said the dress cost $9,878.00. I cried and cried but then my aunt came and said she only paid $100 because the daughter of the lady she bought it from was a dressmaker and she had tons of dresses. I continued crying and saying I was never borrowing clothes again.
So bizarre. I'd be interested to know what this means.

This sounds like it could be an anxiety dream. I get them sometimes. Often my anxiety dreams have an odd twisted connection to what I'm worried about. For instance in your dream the dress is very expensive. Maybe you are worried about money? Just guessing based on my own dream experiences. Or I could be way off base.

Want to talk about nightmares, huh? :scared:
I woke up with something sitting on me last night, and get this, while one was sitting on me,another was pulling on my arm.It was total darkness in my room and I couldn't see these two things but I tried to move and could not move a limb.I tried to speak but couldn't do that.It felt like both of them were up for some sinister play with me and I wanted to struggle and fight them off of me but I was paralyzed and felt totally helpless.
Kind of reminded me of the old hag syndrome what some people experience when they wake up during the night with someone or something sitting on them.
I couldn't see them but in a way happy that I couldn't because these things felt evil ,but at the same time mischievous and playful.Their intent was to do whatever the hell they wanted with me,very scary feeling.
This is what happen next..not being able to get out of a bad situation,I prayed. The lord or perhaps my guardian angel spoke to me and told me don't resist, stop struggling and close your eyes and go back to sleep, that everything will be ok."I'm here",the voice told me.
So I did what it told me to do and closed my eyes and went back to sleep.Almost instantly I did fall back to sleep and pretty much slept good the rest of the night until morning. When I woke up i didn't feel scared or frightened by anything.I felt pretty good, actually. There was no bad energy left behind,no bad anything.
So my guess was that by praying for help, help came and took care of those two demons or whatever they were.
Btw, the only time I pray is when I'm in some serious trouble.Praying works for me.

I had the strangest dream last night. Does anyone know what I’m talking about when I say “ the picture of Jesus knocking on the door”????? My Nana and Pappy had this picture (more than one, actually) in their home when I was growing up. Well last night I dreamt of this picture and now today I’ve been driving myself crazy trying to figure out WHY????????????? Any ideas? Could it be my Nana trying to contact me?:seeingstars::seeingstars:

Wow, that's intense. I wonder if it could be some kind of message. Anyway, it sounds like a positive message being conveyed, rather than an ominous one, don't you think? Like maybe she's watching over you?

Okay y'all, so I've had this dream at least three times...
I'm at a mall/arcade type thing and I'm with someone. Maybe a partner or a friend, can't tell. There's an ice cream place and I realize I want some.
Then, I proceed to basically steal this ice cream with supernatural powers. Sometimes I transport the ice cream to myself through telekinesis, sometimes I run to get the ice cream with superhuman speed before the shopkeepers notice.
The thing is, I don't even eat ice cream.
What do y'all think it means?!?

I again had the dream where one is trying to make a phone call and it just doesn't happen! First no change for the pay phone, then you can't dial the right numbers or you can't remember the phone number......one frustrating thing after another

do you know who the someone is? Per my dream book, this portends bad news.
Sounds like someone is trying to relay a sad message (per my book)

Oh dee, I'm the one trying to make the call, to whom I have no idea! What is really freaky is, once (real time) I was going by bus to meet someone at a restaurant and at some point along the way I realized I had gotten on the wrong bus so got off when I found a place to make a call and DAM if I didn't have the right change, phone number , etc etc SO FREAKY!!

i had a very weird dream that i was young and working at a bank ( this part is true) and my parents who were a young version of themselves showed up and told me they needed to put some cash in the vault. My father was holding a nice stack of cash.
It was very sneaky but i think so no one knew they had cash on them.
i hurriedly shuffled them to where the vault is and opened it, i said *just throw it in!* and my father pulled out stacks and stacks of brand new cash from under his jacket to also throw in.
NO idea with tithes is about, but i’m going to see if i can look it up

last night's dream was wild and vivid.
i dreamt that i called Mel when i was on the road and said *i'll be home in two hours*.... well i am going along the interstate and see a sign that say
*Welcome to Altanta!* (Totally the wrong way)
Well that could totally happen with my directional challenges, but anyway i pull in to what appears to be a convention happening, and go into a very upscale and busy restaurant to get a meal. i felt under dressed (this always happens to me)... i had to walk through all this chaos and people to get in.
i leave the restaurant only to get to my car and see my wallet is missing.
i go BACK into the crazy restaurant and see my wallet on a shelf behind the hostess desk. Only my wallet is gold and shiny, but its definitely my wallet.
She hands me my wallet and i open it, it's empty. License, money, credit/debit cards all gone.
i call Mel and have a meltdown. Mel says hy is buying me a plane ticket so i can just go home.
i get to the airport, and they won't let me on as i have no ID. i open my phone case and see my debit card, and am pleading with TSA to just let me go on the plane so i can go home.
Then i woke up :|
i am wondering about the glittery wallet. It was way prettier than anything i would ever own. :seeingstars:
A few weeks ago i had a dream i did some (justified) terrible things and i was just trying to get home. Nothing but obstacles.
i think i just want to go *home*

Remember, back in the day, back before the invention of the answering machine for your land line telephone, and how you'd get the busy signal, if the phone line was either tied up by two party's talking or the telephone receiver wasn't placed properly on the telephone base?
I dreamed last night that the latest technogy advancement for Smart phones was the re-invention of the land line busy signal.... *lol*

I had a dream last night about being overly shy and tongue tied around someone I liked!
I can usually remember my dreams vividly but this one is hazy. I remember I was standing and she was sitting on a stool. I remember I was wearing a long sleeve white shirt and black slacks (clothes that I feel most comfortable in btw). I recall at some point saying something so off the wall or outlandish that we both laughed but I have no clue what it was damn it!

You can write your dream down and keep it next to you that day so you see it and slowly you'll start remembering the details, when you do write them down so more memories will come to you. Then after you can search online for the meaning or if you meditate you can meditate and see what comes to you.

OMG, so, earlier today, I called my long time dear friend, to make sure she was home and she wasn't, she's up in Kalispell, Montana, hanging out with her cousins..... so I went out by Walmart to pick up packing tape and bubble wrap and low and behold, right there by the Scotch Brand of packing tape, was T-Rex Tape. LOLOL, I just dreamed about T-Rex tape last night, but didn't know there was an actual brand of packing tape called T-Rex tape.
But here is my really strange dream from last night (LOL): I dreamed that Adam Schiff had a bunch of T-Rex packing tape and he cornered that horrible you-know-who, in my dream, and he taped up that horrible person's mouth, so he couldn't talk anymore, then Adam Schiff taped up his hands behind his back, so he couldn't do anymore of those weird White Nationalist signs (the 'okay' sign with his hand and fingers) and then Adam Schiff carried him off, just like a T-Rex to some really strange place in T-Rex tape land, never to be heard from again.
Then Adam Schiff went on to become the President of the United States, dressed in his T-Rex costume.
I blame my strange dream on seeing a video earlier last week, of a person in a T-rex costume, riding on jet ski's and being up all hours of the day and practically all night, trying to tape up all my household boxes before I move.

I rarely remember dreams. But last week I dreamed there was a very small clear-ish water hole. Very small. Anyway I only saw dead fish floating in it but I was fishing anyway and I did catch one that was alive and I walked it through a path to show people (I have no idea who they were) but I either don’t remember getting all the way to the small house or I woke up before I did. Pretty sure I woke up.

I had a dream last week that homoe and kittygrrl made a surprise visit to my beach shack. They were dressed to the nines and I was in my bathrobe. They kept trying to tell me something, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. Anyway, they didn't stay long, and homoe left in a vintage sports-car, and kittygrrl left on a Harley. I am wondering if they look the same in reality Ha-ha.:)

what a funny dream Glenn..you seem puzzled but lighthearted so hopefully it did not disturb you...we were there with a message, but it is something only you can figure out....i think, when you are ready...or..it may also be a message to prepare you for something significant( to you) that will happen soon..or it could be just good ole curiosity:praying:

You should also journal what it going on in your life. It will help process your dream as we are always trying to process things. Even in our sleep

It was a few nights ago that I dreamed I was passing by some sort of bakery & coffee kiosk, saw the most delicious chocolate chip muffins, and cream cheese brownies. I stopped, stepped up and ordered one of the muffins and when the clerk returned instead of putting the muffin in a bag she started unwrapping the paper and began eating it...:seeingstars:

Last night I had a dream that an enormous burgandy ship capsized on me as I was standing on a curb. I ended up laying on the ground with the boat on top of me and I woke up before it crushed me.
Not sure what it means, but it shook me up a bit. Told myself a nice bedtime story about Detroit to get back to sleep. It helped.

I looked up the word Crush in the dream dictionary and it says "If you dream that a part of your body is being crushed, then it suggests that you are being prevented to full express yourself."
This is exactly what was happening in my life when I had this dream.
Mystery solved.

Last night I had a weird dream again.
I was speaking with friends on a pier and we were practicing social distancing. I passed gas and a butch celebrity I have a crush on came and stood close behind me. She was my date for the night and stood behind me to stop any unfavorable smells from escaping.
The dream dictionary says:
To see your crush in your dream represents your current infatuation with her or him.
To dream that you passed gas suggests that you are being passive aggressive. You need to express your feelings in a more direct manner.
Thank goodness it's a simple celebrity crush that's innocuous and won't go anywhere, but I don't like dreaming about her.
Passive-aggressive ... well, it bees that way sometimes.
