Following newbie protocol

Heya,

I'm Deirdre. I live in the PacNW, eerily close to Portland. So close, in fact, you could say it is in Portland and be entirely correct.

I used to run up post counts at various forums for many, many moons, then about 3 years ago I just sort of stopped. Maybe I had some bad fish, or maybe some undercooked chicken -- I don't really know. However, these days I feel a bit recharged and as this community came highly recommended, I popped on by.

I'm looking forward to contributing and getting to know you!
