Hi Everyone, This is my intro to the Planet. As you can see I am into the environment. I guess you could call me a tree hugger. I believe in the no-trace policy and practice it as a firm rule when out in the woods. I have always wanted a job in the environmental field. Sadly, I lack the smarts for science, so I have to stick to the job I have atleast until I retire. For now, I will just enjoy the environment and do what I can to keep our planet (no pun intended) clean. Oh and none of my degrees have to do with the environment as well.

Wondering if I just did an overshare.

Nice to meet everyone.

Welcome, EB. I think you'll find some like-minded folks here and some good eco threads and threads in general.

Happy new year, and enjoy yourself here!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.

I am using the search feature to find those enviro threads. Is there a different way to find them?

I have been reading some of the "how to" info threads and they are excellent as to explaining how to post youtube videos (my next endeavor) and other things. It certainly makes it a lot easier to wander around.

Again, thank you all.

Look on the Forum main menu page under "Life" there is a thread/s all about green living and if you happen to be Veggie or Vegan or anything inbetween we have a great Veggie thread (for laughs) but lots of good info there too.

Hi kitty,

Thank you for the info and will do. If you happen to see me get lost, just re-direct me please? :)

Click the big black circle (front page), look on the left for forums, scroll for your "Life" section and pick a thread.

Welcome to the Planet EB. Do you have a specific area in Environmental issues that you focus? Biology, Natural Resources, Sustainable Resources, Cultural Anthropology?

Good Morning Greyson

As for my focus .. I would have to say Sustainable resources .. being green . wanting to keep the Earth in some sort of decent shape for those that will be here long after we are gone. I think we all have some sort of responsibility for that. We use the Earth every single day as our place to live, yes? That is just my general feeling/passion of it all. There is much more behind all of that as well. I could take those interested to a Starbucks and talk all day about it. Though I may drive some to boredom ;)

Thank you again for the welcome
