Wild hogs to be exterminated in Fannin
Published: Monday, January 18, 2010 4:15 PM CST
The landowners of Delta and Fannin Counties have received a TDA (Texas Department of Ag) and TCE (Texas Cooperative Extension) grant to eradicate all wild hogs. Significant numbers of private landowners have signed up, many next to public areas.

The exterminators have guaranteed a 70-80% reduction in total hog numbers. They will use aerial gunships, helicopters with automatic weapons, to dispatch the animals. This will significantly reduce the number of wild hogs in Delta and Fannin Counties.

This will also significantly reduce the number of hogs in and around Cooper WMA and Caddo Grasslands WMA located in those counties. Aerial Gunning will begin January 18 in Fannin, and January 24 in Delta. (They WILL NOT be shooting on public lands, the WMAs)

Why do people press the elevator button several times in rapid succession when the button has already been pressed? Why did Jack and Jill go up the hill? And how do we know that Jack was a boy? And why would they be going up a hill to get water? How do we know that they weren't going to get something else? And how did Jack fall? Did Jack trip over that invisible something like what makes people trip on a rug? Did Jane trip Jack? And what kind of crown was it? Was it a dental crown? Is crown code for something else? Is it possible that I asked these kinds of questions as a kid and drove my mom who was a saint and the not so saintly teachers nuts?

And why would I reach for a Monster energy drink after 8 pm??? Where is Naomi? Shouldn't someone bring some cinnabons (sp)? How about some chocolate chip cookies?

Does everyone know how excited I am to see them at the Reunion? Will all my favorite peeps dance with me? Will I finally get to expierince this thing known as the body shot? Will I have enough dollar bills for the cabaret? Will my new Jacky O sunglasses shield my bags from the breakfast crowd?
