Hi everyone! I found the planet a couple of days ago but this is the first chance I have had to introduce myself. I am leery of the online environment however there is no butch/femme community near where I live so here goes me trusting you. I am online a lot because I am always studying it seems but I don't have the time I wish I had to explore places like this. I do however log on at least once a day to see what is new and to respond to any messages, respectful that way. Looking to meet like minded people that won't judge me for my old school ways. Well that's it for now time to explore the threads.

Welcome Alix!! The Planet is a wonderful place full of awesome people. I have known a large majority of the people here both online and in person for 3 years now. It really is a safe place to be.

As with anything online just sit back, read, and watch how people interact. Peruse the forums and see what you might be interested in talking about. There are threads from silly word games to intense debates. There is something for everyone. The mods here are awesome as well.

If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask it.. I am sure someone will answer it for you.

Enjoy your new found home!! Oh, and as for not liking the one you have... well we just moved from Missouri to Oregon a month ago and I couldnt be happier.. so when the time is right maybe you will find someplace else you might enjoy living in.

There are also several different get togethers in several different states. I met so many wonderful people in Little Rock last year!! Everyone is very welcoming and friendly.

I am trying to get my bachelors in psychology. Currently taking a Children and Violence class that is beyond sad and a good way to get angry unfortunately!

I'm starting to think I might need to go back to school and brush up on a subject I thought I passed years ago :seeingstars:

Guess I was right to be leery of the online environment! But I'm not giving up yet!!! There has to be real people out there that want to get to know me before judging me! :|

I'm also working toward my BA in Psychology :) Right now I'm taking Educational Psychology. Next term: Sociology of Crime and Violence. I'm sure that's going to have some disturbing content, but overall I think it'll be interesting. Good luck with your studies!
