hey oopster im born and raised in Nor Cal still here in a sleepy little town of Paradise.Redding is about an hour and a half away.Chico is a great little hippy town when the college students are away.lots of rivers to play in,concerts in the park, farmers markets, good bike riding area.i'm pretty sure Redding might be the same.
good luck!

Were you between vic and Jo? or on the other side of Jo?

I will actually be out of HellA in a week. This summer is the El Dorado Forest! I'll be up there through September, but really won't have time to venture out of that area!
It's nice to know someone is up there if somehow we end up there for the 2012/2013 year! I'm hoping we will but somehow doubtful!
looks like you have lots of folks you can visit and see...
yay you :)

You are thinking the city klamath falls Oregon.
I will be in the klamath national forest. It's north of the shanty trinity and east of six rivers

Woah ..The Eagle is re-opening?
Awesome news! Thank you Rope!
The S.F. LGBT Center is planning a memorial for Mike McLeod sometime mid-February. They will let me know the exact date in a couple of days.
Mike worked as the Facilities Manager there for many years. If you would like to make a donation to the Center in Mike's name, go to their website to do so at www.sfcenter.org, any amount is welcome. OR mail a donation.
The San Francisco LGBT Center is located at 1800 Market Street, S.F., CA 94102
Parking is hellish in this neighborhood, I highly recommend public transportation. Nearest BART station is Civic Center and you can either wak the four blocks OR take MUNI from there one stop up.
Details to follow.

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD THAT THE LOCATION HAS MOVED DUE TO THE EAGLE NOT PASSING ITS CITY INSPECTION (MINOR STUFF BUT NOT READY IN TIME AFTERALL).

I live in a little town in very Northern California called Tulelake. We are in the sticks, surrounded by farmland and the Lava Beds. :hangloose: We live in caves up here and fight like men. :yesno: Just kidding, though we do have our fair share of hicks. :fastdraq:

Anything going on in San Francisco in mid August? I'll be in town for a conference. Looking to meet some new friends in the area, maybe grab a cocktail.
