Hi! I am so relieved to have found these boards! I stayed up late last night reading and reading and it is wonderful to find others with similar thoughts and feeling as mine. I am a fierce femme lesbian, only out since last August. I am 33, so a bit of a late bloomer, although I have known since I was a teenager that I was gay. I live in Portland, OR, and even though there is a large gay community here, I have struggled to find a place I fit. I have always been attracted to butches (even before I was out), and am 6 months into a committed relationship with a stone butch who I absolutely love and adore in a way I didn't know was possible. But I have been told even in my close circle of lesbian friends, that I am not a real lesbian because she looks, acts, and talks like a boy. So relieved to have found a place here where I might be accepted for who I am!
