For the butches here who wear men's undies, when did you start wearing them? I started at the beginning of HS. After a week or so, my dad noticed his underwear supply was running low. He asked me about it, and I admitted I had been bogarting them. :( He took me shopping that weekend, and I bought a couple packs of boxer-briefs. Threw out my panties.

It's been a long long time, at least 18 years or so now I think. I purchased my own. I started out wearing regular boxers and occasional boxer briefs. Now I'm more about the boxer briefs because I like they way they feel.

I finally started about a year ago. I go between boxer briefs and boxers. I find the boxer briefs too hot in the summer. I don't like regular boxers so I wear ones made out of a material similar to t-shirts..not sure what it is but i buy them at Kohl's and they are their store brand. They make me feel sexy and comfortable.

Funny enough I guess, I first started wearing boxers while in the Army. I hated the way my BDUs (camo pants) felt against the inside of my thighs and so bought them b/c they came down lower...O M G, why hadn't I figured that out before?! Went right back down to the PX and bought up a supply, threw out my girl underwear and never looked back. That was about 22 years ago....

Now I'm all about the boxerbriefs--they feel great ! Mostly I wear Calvin Kleins, Armani, Diesel and American Eagle. (they're cheaper online !)

Depending on the season and the company I am keeping,

I always wear either these colored Fruit of the Loom Boxer Briefs

http://img3.targetimg3.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/13/69/13692684.jpg

or these colored Hanes briefs,

http://img3.targetimg3.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/14/13/14138918.jpg

with a white Hanes V-neck t-shirt,

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/312rVt6xg6L._SX342_.jpg

or a white Hanes wife-pleaser,

http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/Hanesbrands/HNS_22837_White_is?wid=257

all probably from Target or Walmart, all probably bought on sale.

I doubt that I'd buy Calvin Klein or any designer stuff at this point, not for underwear.

In my mid 20's .. i bought boxers first then got tighty whities and now I'm more about Hanes boxer briefs and sometimes boxers depending if I'm packing, etc..

I have ashirts also and tshirts (white) and black muscle shirts and Hanes is my choice with those too.

I like shopping at Under Gear...my mail man probably thinks not so highly of me (cause the catalogs are a little revealing) but love how everything I have ever gotten from them fits ... :)

I started wearing them since my early 30s for me but it was a transitional thing. I went from the female nether-region wear - to comando - to boxer briefs. I had and have regular boxers but don't care for them nearly as much. It was more of a novelty thing to say I had them but when the boxer briefs were designed I started using them. I like the way boxer briefs hug my thighs and support my package.

Guess I'm the newbie here....I have worm boxers and tees to bed for years...but, when I discovered my calling and packing - seemed I needed to change the undies...now and for about a year or so, I have been experimenting...for now I'm a briefs boi....

I have no idea when I started wearing men's undies. I am normally commando, but when I do wear boxers it is regular old boxers. Tried boxer briefs and did not like them nor do I like briefs.

I love the 'wife pleaser' ..........gonna start using that name..........wear one most of the time and in different colors....I will also wear v-necked tshirts in different colors.....I am known for stripping down to my wife-pleaser when dancing

I started in highschool ... I played field hockey, you know back then, they made us wear kilts.. well I REFUSED to wear that spanks thingy and I begged the coach to let me wear boxers underneath. And during ice hockey season, I wore boxers under my gear..

fast foward several years, I dated a girl.. she was like.. you wear regular girl underwear..I said nothing and threw away all of my girl underwear and have worn boxers ever since.

I might have started wearing boxer briefs "by mistake" (for lack of a better explaination). I knew I hated wearing girls panties. So one year while school clothes shopping I asked (ok BEGGED) my Mom if I could have some Batman boxer briefs. Being open minded as she is, she replied "I do not see why not". That sealed the deal for me. I loved them !!!!! They felt so comfortable and so "me".

So to this day I wear boxer briefs. I have never worn boxers or tighty whities. The brands I prefer are Hanes (the type that come midway down the thigh and do not move up when putting jeans or shorts on) on a daily basis. When dressing up I tend to go with Hilfiger with a lighter fabric which compliments the lighter fabric of my dress/suit pants.

Again as another post commented on - when packing I wear a boxer brief that is comfortable depending on the package I am using at the time.

I started wearing boxers also in the army in the 80's...I was at training school in deep south in the heat of the summer and damn it! I don't know how to but this gingerly, so I am just going to say it..sometimes you really want the sweat to roll way from your junk! Summers in the South in BDUs just suck!
(I still have some gravel from Ft. Jackson embedded in my ass ! Drill SGT Smith I'm looking at you...)

Even worse? Summers in the Middle East in full combat gear....ugh, boxer briefs saved my skin. (yeah yeah, but it's a dry heat! very funny :-)

I was literally going to buy boxers similar to these one's two days ago except they had Dr. Seuss's one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish on it. They remind me of when I was a little kid. I loved Dr. Seuss books back in the day.

I started wearing them when I was in high school, probably my freshman year. I had wanted to escape the misery of panties for years, but wasn't sure how to go about it. Then, one day out of the blue, while shopping, I was looking over in the Men's section and got me some boxers. I loved the way they felt and just the freedom and comfort. As soon as I got home with them, I tossed out every girly package of panties that i had and didn't regret it at all. I've been a boxers fella since I was 16, and frankly, it still feels good all these years later.

For those of us who wear boxer briefs, do you like the length short, medium or long?

I like the longer leg because I like the way it makes my thighs look and the way it feels.

I've been wearing for at least ten years now. No way will I ever give up my boxer briefs! I like the length of mine between medium and short. My fiancee(insert huge grin here) is a big fan of my new Hanes boxer briefs. They're great! Perfect length, soft and awesome fabric, not to mention they fit perfectly, packing or not.

I can't remember exactly when I started, but it's been years and years.

I don't like boxer briefs. I tried them and they feel hot and creepy (they like to crawl up on me). It's also difficult, if not impossible, to pack in them without a harness or some sort of support strap. The heat part is the big thing with me, though.

I don't mind boxers....the regular ol' cotton ones, though I don't own any of these classic goodies. I have a bit of a novelty collection of knit boxers I've collected over the years. I wear them at night to sleep in, mostly, with a white v-neck t-shirt. I've never been able to sleep in the nude well. I have and do sleep shirtless when it's been really hot, but the 2 fans I sleep with tend to wake me up in the night by blowing on my chest, tummy and back hairs (I'm kinda really hairy) and that tickles. I also enjoy wearing knit and plaid flannel lounge/pajama pants during the cooler months, but just around the house and not to sleep in (too hot).

For undies, I like cotton knit briefs.....preferably Jockey brand. A few years back, the Jockey company made briefs in what they called the "Dry Y" (probably because of the design of the fly) style, but these were really really cool and they wick sweat away really nicely. Well, they stopped making those, but I still have some of my old ones and they are my "night" briefs. For work and day wear, it's the cotton briefs. I don't have to have anything really fancy and I don't get into designer stuff. My underwear isn't there to impress anyone. I'm not into "fashion statements" with my shorts. If it's comfy and supports me, I'm happy.

I do love v-neck t-shirts, though. I always have. :heartbeat:

I can't believe I'm posting in an underdrawer thread. :|

Hey Theo,

I don't know if you noticed or not but Jockey now has what's called a stay cool brief. Not sure if this is similar to what you are talking about or not. Looks like it helps lower your skin temp somehow. They also have a wicking performance brief.

Anyway, Jockey is probably my favorite brand of boxer briefs.

I started wearing boxers in college....and then found boxer briefs. It was so convenient having a Gay boy cousin to steal stuff from.

I don't like boxers because they feel like you're stuffing a t-shirt into your pants.

I prefer Calvin Kleins because they have buttons on their boxer briefs, very convenient for unleashing the fun.

I have boxers for sleeping when it's hot. And usually boxer briefs during the day. My baby just bought me to for Halloween. One is orange and the other black with cartoon scary faces. I love then.

I like to get the Papi brand online too. Sometimes I match tops and bottoms, but it's really Bubblin' that likes me to match.

I started wearing men's underwear a few years ago. I like boxers for lounging or sleeping, but prefer trunks for daily wear.

Funny story actually. I was in the hospital the other day and a volunteer was helping me get dressed. She noticed my underwear and commented how they were "boy's underwear". Then she told me how her granddaughter prefers underwear like that because it's more comfortable.I agreed and the lady said she may have to try it.

Boxers are a marvelous invention. They don't cling or constrict and I love that. Undershirts are great too, t-shirts and a-shirts, as underwear, as outerwear, as everywear...I like the ones in solid colors, gray, black, blue, red, any. My favorite shirt right now is a black t-shirt undershirt with a pocket that's gotten worn in enough so it's very comfortable and looks awesome with every and any other clothing article I own.

Boxer briefs, anyone?

It's a challenge finding a high quality pair that doesn't have the brand embroidered all along the waistband, though. Who wants to see you bend over with "JOCKEYJOCKEYJOCKEY" advertised all over your behind? I finally found a tasteful pair of elegant almost logo-free, all-black Docker's briefs and bought around 50 pairs. Wise investment, I say. I'm set for life.

There's this legend about how Ralph Nader, to this day, only wears army surplus boots he bought back in the '60s. He loved the first pair so much that he went back and bought the store's entire stock. He was my inspiration.

Boxer briefs for sure, but briefs kind of annoy me. Every once in a while I wear them, usually if I've exhausted the rest of my underwear and need to do laundry. I guess they cover more than regular women's underwear, but still annoying imo.

I basically wear boxer briefs 99% of the time, but I do like boxers for sleeping though just to get a bit of a breeze flowing :lol2:

A kiki chimes in with...long leg boxer briefs are the best choices for U/us. They are comfy, and don't chafe the inner thighs. In times of my gender fluidity, they can...wait for it...be worn under skirts (something my Dom. doesn't need to think about).

Haha, funny how different things work for different people, cause I prefer boxer briefs for a similar situation. Also work in a warehouse/physical job and I hate briefs partly because when I start sweating I find if I'm wearing jeans then the material more easily starts to chafe (and it always seems to happen only on one leg and always in the same spots lol). I don't have a problem with boxer briefs ever riding up but then I always wear the same length. I don't like trunks for example because they have tendency to ride up, but boxer briefs that go mid-thigh work well for me to avoid riding up, keep upper legs dry and no chafing.

Boxer briefs for me.....Jockey brand, Hanes comfort waist and tagless, Under Armour.

When I was younger I had boxers made......fabric of tools or woodgrain....etc... Lol

Boxer briefs unless I'm packing, then it's briefs. I started with boxers but don't like the way they ride up my legs.

bamboo boxers are perfect.. They do not ride up... I buy them from Marks, unfortunately they are a bit pricey and sold individually but worth every penny.

I wear briefs because they hold my packer in better. I wear boxers to sleep and around the house if it is warm out.

I went commando all the way up til I hit 30 (32 now). Bought a Nightmare Before Christmas pair of boxer briefs for fun and haven't turned back since. I have built up a nice collection now...all of which are cartoonish in some kind of way and I love it. Just sharing. :)

Live in long leg boxer briefs. Obviously not the same pair 24/7 lol.

Wicked comfy with my Hanes V-neck t-shirts.

I wear briefs for work as more material would bunch up in my dress pants. One can't look "dapper" ;), if your pants don't drop straight off your hips like they are supposed to.

Otherwise, I like trunks or boxer briefs because my jeans/casual pants don't care what is under them. :cheesy:

I can't wear those. Even though they make them to fit a female body the legs aren't big enough for us big Bois.

Knit or regular boxers?

I prefer knit over regular boxers, more comfortable for my fat boi problems.

I finally got some boxers for myself. I didnt have a real reason not to get some, just my executive dysfunction making things difficult for me. The fit surprisingly well considering I'm thick and my hips are much wider than my waist :boxers:

I don't wear underwear unless the weather is cold or hot. Long thermals in winter and briefs in summer.

I bought some briefs to use when I go to the hospital or have medical procedures. The medical staff does not want me walking around with my hiney hanging out of those hospital gowns. Haha!

Otherwise I am a comando kind of guy.

Knit boxers aren't too shabby to wear with my khakis to work, I can actually move and they don't ride up.

Woven boxers do not fit me at all.

I remember Joe Boxer and when they were in style.

Boxer briefs are comfortable. I wear briefs when I wear a certain pair of jeans, for some reason they keep my shirts tucked in.

Being a tad of a history buff, I found out this bit of trivia about this guy's missing member.

It started out an Eastern European folk tale about a dude who got drunk, waking up without a nose. Nose became a social equivalent for penis in this story. Anyway, he found it on a blanket in the market for sale. After negotiating a price, he bought it back. Culture had found the nose to become a convenient euphemism for an unmentionable body part to detach.

The moral (usually East. European fables have one) escapes me unless one translates it to being a dick or an excuse for telling tall tales. :pirate-steer:

Being younger, I've been wearing men's underwear for about 6-7 years now (started pretty much just out of high school). I've always bought the Aeropostale brand, just cause it's convenient since I buy most of my other clothes there. You can't beat $15 jeans and $15 button-ups that actually look semi-formal.
