Wow. You mofos aren't very helpful. I mean time's a wastin' here.
There's only 20 minutes 'til midnight when I will be eating my midnight snack. So please get a move on and... Help Me Decide.

Thank you in advance,

Thank you Metropolis. I have not only received an education in snack eating hedonism, but also an apparently much needed lesson in maintaining faith in my friends and having more than a hand grenade's worth of patience.

Seashells down by the seashore or my sister Sally?

Oh wait. That was a serious question.

Yes. To both.*

I have no dilemmas.

Does that mean that my dilemma is that I have no dilemma? That is wrong. I will go and sit in my head until I find one.

Too late, good people of the Planet. In my delirium fueled mania (which has spilled over onto facebook, slightly) I wildly reached for and unconsciously ate olives. And, as Carrie's mother said... "I LIKED it!"

Please use this thread well. May it guide you and keep you and help your choices be far less excruciating.

AH, HA, HAAAAA!!!!!

:superfunny:

I "INSTANTLY" saw Carrie's mother face and heard her voice saying that - about getting screwed the first time! OMG!!!!! Good one.

That movie is so damn creepy funny.

(Sorry you went with the olives though... Really. I KNEW I was TOO late. I was watching this weeks "HOARDERS" show.)

I'm a big fan of cereal as a midnight snack.
Actually, toast is preferred, THEN cereal.
I say next time, pour the milk and have at it.

Peanut Butter Captain Crunch is the be-all end all in cereals to me and if you passed that up in favor of the olives you have done yourself and your stomach a mighty huge disservice

Peanut Butter Captain Crunch above all else

Ice cream
Baked potato with sour cream

how long do i cook this 2.58 lb pot roast that's been browned and is simmering (or maybe on the high end of simmering) on the stove in my caribbean blue colored le creuset dutch oven?

http://a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/17215/7d/ccimg.shop.com/210000/211700/211779/products/-!Le%20Creuset%20Caribbean%20Blue%20Round%20French% 20Ovens%207%20188%20qt%20--43918588.jpg

the bottom of the pan has a bit of last night's red wine (a spanish) and a diced onion, secret ingredients and quartered mushrooms.

help?*

additionally--

a. we're having late-christmas at my sisters, so this will be traveling 30 minutes in the car.

b. we're at sea level.

c. i think it's about 70 degrees outside.

d. sunny, dry.

To help you calculate the proper cooking time I may need to know the following-

Where will the pot will be in transit (your lap? on floor? in bed of truck?)
How many cloves of garlic are in the pot?
If over cooked what are the possible options for use? (shoe insoles? jerky?)
What if the game goes into OT do we still have to go to your sister's?
Should I eat before we go?
Have you seen Chester? Exactly what kind of meat is in this roast beast?

Dean Thoreau

First do you want it well done? medium? rare? or still mooing?
Was it or is it frozen , somewhat fresh (unfrozen) or just off the cow?
I will assume unfrozen
bake in oven at 325

for mooing....get it out now!!!

for rare 1 hour
medium 1 1/2
well done 1 hr 40 minutes ......
if u keep it in the pan..to travel... it should be perfect....long as u dont have an oven in the car..the pan should continue to cook slowly to perfection while on the drive

After you have served your pot roast please feel free to mail me the LeCreuset roaster.....................its ok if u don't wash it or clean it I will not mind a bit

Ok so my dilemma:
Should I get my butt up and dressed and out of this warm comfy bed and go get a haircut.

or

Should I treat myself to this time of hedonistic pleasure, since I go back to work tomorrow, and write a few more epistles and post them.....

it's been on the stove since about 12:30, but in arizona we don't do daylight-savings, so i have no idea what that means. perhaps i should put it in the microwave.
