I've been watching it since it came on! I love the macho or whatever you want to call it attitude of Barry, Dave, Darryl and Jared. The documentary says its fake and scripted, but I still love it! I'm not a fan of the spin offs from it though.

I've gotten into it more over the last few months but I wanna purchase the first 2 seasons and apparently Season 4 will be out in February of 2013 :)

I have bought things off Dave Hester on eBay!

I do not like the dynamic between the couple. (I am terrible with names) They are borderline abusive with one another verbally and at times, even physically. (I am not ok with someone throwing boxes at me!)

I have a consignor in my shop who does this for a living. Whenever he gets plus size clothes he sends them my way. We are actually talking about pairing up and doing a combo, with some of his furniture items being brought in for display. I got a $400 mixmaster type thingy that I use to beg for christmas...for only $100. I guess I didnt need anyone to buy it for me after all!

The documentary is right. I am in this industry and the auctioneers we use have been on properties where the tapings for these shows occur. They bait the units by buying up a bunch, sorting through them for the good stuff, putting the good stuff in one or two units off camera and then relocking and recutting and reselling the unit on camera.

Total fakery but most of reality TV is nowadays. I say let them eat cake if that's what they want. :)

Been watching it for a few years. Dave is a ass, but I think that is part of the story line if you will. Brandy should just run over Jarod with their rental truck. Barry cracks me up, he comes across as a retired rich dude that is just out having fun. I like him pretty good and lord is he off the wall. Darryl, chuckles, well the world is full of people like him. Wish I could buy him for what he's worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth.

It's good entertainment, I'm like Heavenlyangel, though I don't watch any of the spinoffs from it.

I don't enjoy watching Jason and Brandy. They have an unhealthy relationship. A lot of hostility between them. Not good for their kids to have to live each day.

Barry a ham. Must be loaded in real life. Dig all of his cars and crazy creations like the wheelchair that does wheelies and has a bar in the back. He's a trip.

Dave is the villain. The role seems natural for him.

Darryl. Oh lord. Can't fake or script his brand of off-the-wall.

I feel for Brandon. Not a good sign when you call your parent by their 1st name.

And yet...somehow, I enjoy this show!

I am coming out of the closet to admit this.
