I figure this is a huge shot in the dark but does anyone know of a silversmith/jeweler who specializes in ring design (no stones, actual silver design).

Speak with your local jeweller. I had rings made, many moons ago, by a local jeweller.

I don't know a specific silvermith but have often seen them at arts and craft festivals ... might be a good place to check out your options. Good luck! :)
