Writing is something that has always been a big part of my life. I haven't been doing much lately and the stuff I have been writing I have kept mostly to myself. I think it's time I start greasing the wheels and see if I can still write.

Sleepless Nights

Alarming midnight dreams
disturbances in the night,
uncontrollable visions
filling me with fright.

Memories from the past
whispering secrets I left behind,
never ending voices
running through my mind.

The questions never end
of those events long ago,
tormenting my thoughts
refusing to let go.

Some day I may be free
I don't know when,
my nights will be quiet
and I will sleep once again.
