This is really cool, but beware! Huge time suck ahead! It "plops" you down somewhere in the world and you have to wander around to get some clue as to where you are. You can zoom in on the itty bitty world map in the corner to get more accurate.

It's really funny what you use for clues-language, foliage, water bodies, what side of the road cars are driving on. Even if the signage is in English, subtle wording changes make a difference. I guessed "England" correctly (at least somewhere in the right country) because of a sign marked "car park", which we don't see in America. However, when I've been wrong, I really blow it!

*LOL*

I am directionally impaired, somewhat I guess, but the program loaded a picture and I tried to guess, based on foilage present in the photograph. I scored 1929 points because the location in the photograph was in British Columbia and I was no where near that location:

I was in .... Wyoming.

That was fun!

The first one I thought was Mexico, but was in the US. Second two I correctly guessed was in Australia. I didn't realise you could really zoom into the map and make a more accurate guess. But even then, not enough context at times to exactly guess. The last one I did was Poland - but I cheated! :D I knew it was in Europe somewhere. Use the company name off a van to google it.

Love this game, score was 10,932. Came really close except one where I guessed Indonesia and it was Japan. Otherwise all were in same area.

LOL that's cool - mine plopped me down in the middle of a bunch of fields. There were no trees so I thought, "This is Wyoming." I was close. Montana.

Cool game, a little easy to figure out some places if you have used Google maps before.

OK, I got 6,111 the first time I tried it. I may have done better if I had been more knowledgeable about the game during Rounds 1 and 2. And I had a few times that I could have searched the internet for phone numbers and really increased my points but, to me, that is cheating. So, I am pretty pleased with my score, especially knowing that I used only my personal abilities and guesses to get to it :)

OK, 9048 for the second time. It really does help to know how to use the controllers.

Thanks for the new addiction!

Drinking wine does not assist my guessing. But it was fun.
