Haven't been able to camp as much as I'd like to this summer, WAY to much rain for tent camping so far this year. So this is on top of my summer bucket list.

I had hoped to take a spring trip to Beidler Forest, knowing babies and wildlife would be plentiful. I still hope to go, I just need to get there before the birds leave. I went last fall in late October and though it was a beautiful place I'm sure it is even more beautiful when it is alive with plants animals and reptiles and birds.

my big thing on my summer bucket list was to have the wedding. Its over and done with so I accomplished this
Second big thing was to move the store..accomplished that 2 days before the wedding. Talk about being crazy...
Now I want the chain link fence up. My lawn man is putting it up for me. I found an amazing deal of 200 feet of fence with posts, gates and all the hardware for $50. New! They decided not to put up their fence! Its just enough to fence in the rest of the yard!
I need to renew my membership at the YM
I MUST get a working vacuum. I had three in the house. Two pissed me off so bad I literally threw them out the door. The last one is going to the repair shop. If it doesnt work, I think I might lose my mind. I have three dogs and they are all shedding...
I am waiting for my last clearance so i can return to work as a childrens therapist.
I want to find a larger home. I had one picked out last year but had to pass on it because I had to have surgery. As long as I can put off my hip surgeries another year, I will be swapping houses. Selling one to buy outright another. SO having a good vacuum cleaner is important.
Go to the beach. Any beach. I dont care. I cant sit out because of the meds I take but I can enjoy the slosh of the waves, while I sit in the shade...

Just saw/found this thread.
What a wonderful idea...
We are making plans for next year since this summer got away from us rather quickly...
We are going to get out and hike more... 14er's here we come...
Get in at least one weekly workout at Red Rocks, even this winter...
Camp more...
Spend time with the grand babies...
BBQ's...
Visit the Zoo... again... and other local attractions... There is so much to do here in Colorado...
Enjoy this beautiful state we live in...
I am sure this list is bound to grow...
Is there anyone else making plans for next summer/year?

Bucket list!
Bike rides with my daughter. We've been riding a tandem bike since she was 6. She turns 15 in a few weeks and moved into her own bike and it's taking some getting used to for both of us. But it's nice!
I'm joining and adult rowing team and will be on the river two nights a week all summer. :sailing:
Read a lot.
Visit not-local friends, camp, re-connect.
Dance
Few summer music festivals I'm hoping to get to.
Get my daughter's 10th grade homeschool plan lined up and submitted on time.

First to go out dancing, I want to feel you and the rhythm.
Second.. I'll even cut out of work for this one.
Let's drive down to the shoreline, set the mattress in the bed of the truck, as the sun is setting, and the stare at the stars.. Enjoy that moments, then really feel the rhythm that stirs or souls.

I've already had two articles accepted for publication to two other genealogy newsletters :). No money, but that's not the point anyway.
I'm going to do Camp NaNoWriMo in July instead of November, and see how I do. (NaNo is a program where you write a 50,000 word novel in a month. It's traditionally in November). I always have had trouble doing it in November, with holidays and work, so July sounds more manageable).

- See all of the sunsets
- Spend time with my family (always)
-Visit with friends
-Road trips
- I have a thing where I am usually carrying googly eyes on me to place strategically when I'm out and about. I'd like to visit some new towns and googly eye bomb them.
- Camp out in my back yard with my oldest nephew.
- Ride my bike. Like, a lot.
I plan to stay cool this summer!
Last summer I sweated my guts out moving mom. Glad that's over.

I know we just started Spring...but this could also be the start of a summer project. Check it out!🌻🌻🌻
Lowe's plans 'SpringFest' event with free curbside 'Garden-to-Go' projects for families. How to sign up
KELLY TYKO | USA TODAY | 9 hours ago
"Spring just feels so metaphoric this year. Sort of this coming out of our winter, literally and figuratively," Thalberg said in an interview with USA TODAY. "We're already seeing that interest starting to really build quickly as the weather is starting to get warmer in different parts of the country.”
Every week in April for "SpringFest," the North Carolina-based home improvement chain will give away different themed kits to families who register in advance. Registration starts April 1, a week before the first of four weekly giveaways.
Curbside activity kits: How to sign up
Registration for the free Garden-to-Go kits begins April 1 on Lowes.com for the first kit which will be available for curbside pick-up on April 8. The “family-friendly activity kits” can be reserved on the website a week in advance, while supplies last.
Here is the weekly schedule of kits:
April 8: Lowe’s says this kit “is sponsored by Miracle-Gro” and includes recipes from cook and food stylist Amanda Frederickson.
April 15: Lowe’s Mystery Garden Pinata with mystery seed packets.
April 22: For Earth Day, Lowe's will give out 500,000 tree saplings
April 29: "Lowe’s Butterfly Quest" helps families create a butterfly garden.

Getting in a camping trip or two.
Go on a mini-library tour. No matter whether they are grand or something small attached to a village clerk's office - I want to plan a trip to see a small number of them for example - between here in New York starting with where I live and then go on to add say 10 other towns or villages within a certain radius in miles and then keep an online blog about the ones I visit. I realized today after taking some time for self-care and doing some cleaning - that it would be nice to get out and about for maybe a month - and do something I love.
Host a housewarming get together. In all the places I have rented over the years - I think I have done maybe two housewarming parties. I never really considered doing it - because quite simply - I felt that it was more of a "if you buy a house" type of thing. But, I realize that even if I never own a house (by choice) that does not mean that the places I have rented have not left their mark on Me and My neighbors along with that. So, I am thinking of doing it this Summer- because I love this townhouse.
Oh and finally a Summer bucket list staple: read, read, read, and read some more.

Finish spring cleaning.
Start working on J's birthday present to have it done in time, or at least ready by time the winter holidays roll around.
Go camping at least once
Nothing really eventful, I just need to finish things I've started and get out more this summer.

Its not even summer yet....
Seen many sunsets on the beach. We even blew bubbles that one night.
I got a steal of a deal on a turquoise beach cruiser on offer up. I can hardly wait to ride it. Though I have to wait for the stitches on my shin to come off.
Wear more sunscreen
Start new position in 2 weeks!!

I recently marked a top item off my bucket list and the experience was incredible!!
I invited an out of state friend to meet me at Currituck Sound for several days. We went to Kitty Hawk Beach, First Flight museum and monuments. Then we took an absolutely incredible two hour tour (on a safari truck) to see wild Mustangs on Corolla and other beaches. I didn't realize it would be such a spiritual experience.
The next day we visited a special place where sick or injured wild horses are cared for. A sanctuary and fell in love with Rita the mustang and Raymond the tiny mule.
Went to a few more museums and wildlife centers.
On our last day we drove to Roanoke Island (my friends bucket List item) to see the Lost Colony historical site.
Took many pictures of light houses.
Stayed in a beautiful waterfront cabin.
A trip I'll never forget. Especially the horses.

Breaks my heart to read this and know my dearest friend is no longer with me, thanks to pancreatic and liver cancer.
My early summer bucket list for this year is to go back to all these destinations to celebrate her and to finish what she didn't get to finish at Roanoke Island.
I'll make it happen just for her.
