They allow for the comfort of a boxer brief, but are shorter so they don't cause your pants to look all bunchy.

These are very nice. But, I would suggest that it is possible, possible, that there is too much material in the crotch area of these for a good look in a pair of jeans.

That's true. I don't wear super tight jeans. And I have no problem with briefs or boxers. Just be sure to buy them small enough.

Well, I think that the extra layer of material can make a difference, in a regular cut (such as my Levi 501s), as well. Men's underwear is already giving you extra material to begin with, unless you are filling it with a packy. Add that additional piece of material that a "pocket" gives, and you are adding even more. When you are talking a looser cut than 501s (the more "in style" jeans which you are probably referring to), yes I agree there is more flexibility.

Depends on the body type and the jeans. That is why we all have our favs!

I am a fan of trunks, but I wear these (http://shop.2xist.com/product/X20303/ESS-Contour-Pouch-Brief-3-Pack.html) almost daily. The contour pouch holds my stuff in place all day long, without any extra paraphernalia. I have lots of black and some bright colors too. My current favorite trunks are a pair from Lucky, something like these (http://www.luckybrand.com/pot-luck-trunk/7ML0059.html?dwvar_7ML0059_color=020#start=5&cgid=m-clothing-bottoms-boxers), but mine are from last year, and they are black with white four leaf clovers. Usually, I am partial to stripes.

More often than not, I am wearing black socks, but sometimes I will wear white ones with my sneakers. My girlfriend has never ever said my socks are cute, but my drawers get lots of compliments!

I'm not a fan of tight pants or bunchy fronts so I get the knit boxers with the flat front single button. It's like t-shirt material. The legs are not particularly loose so they tuck well.

Once you get the first tuck of the day right it's easier altogether for me, everything goes up and down together. Feels like freestyle but with the clean factor.

They work fine in 501’s for me.

I confess to a lack of creativity here. I just go with whatever the general color scheme of the day is in mostly solids.

At the moment I have on white sox with my tinnis shoes,other than that i'm either going commando or wearing camo boxers,the brand is haines so they fit well.Mostly I also wear a spandex t-shirt sise xlg for a binder that works very well to keep things in place...I have these spandex t's in mutiple colors so it depemds on what I have on to what color I wear.When I am home it's just as little as possable for comfort unless it gets cold the I start adding what I need to stay warm.

Every once in a while Target gets them in. Not official underoos, but super hero unders for adults :) Combination of some with logos, and some with straight up cartoons with word bubbles and stuff (Blamo! Kaplow!) with action shots.

Hello it’s Halloween and it’s a costume. I’m not going to really BE Batman and nobody is going to examine me for the proper genitals when I ring the doorbell and say trick or treat. That’s what the idea is, to wear a costume and pretend to be somebody else. However, little girls aren’t supposed to WANT boys costumes. That’s how they get to keep all the good stuff. They get all the good toys, clothes and Halloween costumes.

And besides I wanted to marry Catwoman not be Catwoman. Sheesh.

That's why I decided not to limit myself as an adult. I prefer men's boxers above all else. My favorite clothes bar none. There is an endless rainbow of variety. And they feel like heaven. But I wear briefs and other types including women's boxer briefs and boy shorts. Here is a pic of an exact replica of one of my pairs of women's boxer briefs. I love to wear boxer briefs with longer legs as it makes me feel more secure for some reason. They fit fine under my jeans as well. I do like the kind with the pouch in front for easy access if necessary. My favorite brand right now is probably jockey.

I was Batman one year. My mom was cool like that. She couldn't control that girl's underwear didn't come in Superman, but she was cool about me liking boy costumes and stuff. I still remember being Dracula with the fake teeth and the blood running down the corner of my mouth.

Yep. I got so many dolls it was ridiculous. I would immediately cut off their hair and take all their clothes off. Then I would play fight with them, beat the crap out of them and draw cuts and bruises all over their faces and bodies with my crayons. I could kick some dolly ass in my day.

My dad kept trying to give me boy stuff to play with. But he often gave me the kind of things he was interested in like cars and trucks. I liked that a bit better than dolls but they still weren't my thing. I wanted a baseball glove and bat, a football, a basketball, toy guns, toy bow and arrows, boxing gloves and punching bags. Stuff like that. But I was grateful for the cars, trains and trucks. He just figured they were the easiest stuff to sneak in. Too hard to explain a punching bag. My mother wanted Shirley Temple. She thought she had her too since I had the banana curls and the whole nine yards going on. Cut those curls off as quick as I could. Kept them cut my whole life. My wife recently has talked me into letting them grow a bit. She loves my curls. I guess they're okay but they still tend to do the banana thing given the slightest opportunity.

I liked plenty of what should have been gender neutral toys like books and colorforms and coloring books stuff like that. But I often ended up getting the girl types of those products. I didn't want Sleeping Beauty anything. I also didn't want jacks or a jumping rope; I wanted a yoyo or a top.

My dad was adept at saying the right thing to get me interested in stuff. He showed me how fighters train with jump ropes so then I was all over that. My mother was thrilled at how good I got at jumping rope.

Fortunately I was pretty good at finding my own toys. The arms of the couch became my horse. The kitchen table was situated in a saloon where I drank water out of shot glasses and smoked strands of spaghetti while I beat the other cowboys at poker with my old maid deck.

Okay sorry for the derail. I clearly got carried away. Back on topic.

Today of course will consist of a variety of Red Sox under garments.

So I can't really tell you exactly what underthings go with unworn socks. However, all underthings in the other full drawers, are of pink, lacy, spaghetti strap, some strapless, polka dot, trimmed with bows or roses, black, red, and aqua varieties. Ahuh, such a girl!

I'm usually less concerned about my unders and bra matching my socks than my nighties, However, I haven't done the wash yet (or as my grandmother put it, "the worsh"), so my grey & light-pink striped knee-highs don't quite match my nude, spaghetti-strap nighty. No socks on right now, but usually my socks are pretty plain. Mostly black or white, though I picked up some cool bright coloured ankle socks over the summer that I like a lot.

I prefer boxer briefs for every day use. Boxers to sleep in/around the house. Most of my underwear is Fruit of the Loom but I bought two pairs of black Stanfields boxer briefs a few months ago and really love them too. I think Stanfields are great because they have these really awesome longer leg boxer briefs. I find that boxer brief legs are getting shorter and shorter, even those that aren't meant to be trunks seem to be drifting towards being trunks. Which sucks for me cause I feel most comfortable with a longer leg on my boxer briefs. I also like plenty of crotch space and hate the ones that cling to much to your crotch. So I guess I'm a bit of the opposite of some folks here...imo there can never be enough crotch space lol

My favourite pair of boxer briefs I own right now though are...my Ninja Turtles ones :p The material and waist band are just amazing. The material is so light and soft. They're tight to my body but not in a totally constricting way. Same with the waist band...not totally loose but doesn't completely cling to my waist like other underwear made out of similar material. They're just so comfortable. I'm actually thinking of going to pick up another pair from Walmart.

I keep telling myself I should buy some underwear that have some brighter colours on them, but every time I back out lol I think too because I haven't managed to find many in stores that are bright/neon colour boxer briefs that have a longer leg. I don't like briefs at all. Some trunks are okay if they are not too short, Sometimes I can find them just a tad longer and they will do. If I am wearing baggy jeans, then ok, but otherwise, it just bunches up the pants. I don't like the way it feels in my pants nor the effect it causes on how my pants are worn against my body. It's funny how different folks have different underwear experiences :p I need all that length in the legs or else I find they can start to ride if I move funny during the day. I find the longer ones don't ride up as much as trunks. I rarely wear dress pants, but when I do even then I prefer the longer leg...though typically I've worn Calvin Klein boxer briefs under dress pants. Either that or anything that's got like 5-10% spandex so it stays even closer to the body than cotton and even less likely to do any riding up. And if it does for some reason it's easier to more discretely pull back down than pure cotton lol

Yeah Calvin Klein's can be pricey otherwise lol. I have two boxer briefs and two briefs that came in a 4-pack that was on sale at Sears at some holiday sale, and mainly great for those rare occasions of dress pants. But I've found they're also pretty good for the gym for the same reason. Since then Fruit of the Loom started making athletic boxer briefs that are also 95% cotton/5% spandex so definitely a great and cheaper alternative for sure.
