Does anyone know any people there, or fun things to do when in those cities?

Don't know Paris at all but do know Barcelona.

It depends what you like to do.

The art and taking pictures are my reasons for going to Barca.
Parc Guell is unmissable as is Sagrada Familia.

Sagrada...impressive place huh?

The Picasso museum is fabulous too.

There's also Camp Nou football stadium (that's proper football with a round ball :p) where they give tours of the facility.

I know of but haven't been on the funicular up Mont Juic...yet!

Also at Mont Juic is the amazing Font Majica which is rather a spectacle

A very quiet Reina Real (I don't recall but it must have been morning because the restaurants aren't all set up)

Bocqueria market is almost worth the visit to Barca all on it's own. It's awesome and a fantastic place to eat real Spanish fare. I like to get a lazy breakfast/brunch at a particular place at the far back left of the market (can't for the life of me remember the name of it).

Just wander around...it's an amazing city to go a-wandering. Turn left or right off Las Ramblas into Barri G̣tic and the other quarters.

I'll come back if I think of anything else.
