I can't do utube (i'm computer challanged), but my favorite was the Coke commerical...meant to make us feel all warm and fussy and included in this country, but i liked it anyway.

The two Budweiser commercials with the horses, the one with the puppy and the one where the guy raises the horse and then reunites in the street. Schmaltzy but satisfying. They won't get me to drink Budweiser though.

But does schmaltzy sell beer? I'm a stock trader and I haven't owned Bud since they sold the horse barn in 2008 to InBev.

They don't own the Clydesdales??

I have no idea what would motivate anyone to drink that piss. But schmaltz is a pretty reliable attention getter. At least on the internet.

Anheiser Busch owns the horses (I think ) but A-B InBev is the parent company and A-B is a subsidiary, though they may have worked out some "side" deal but probably not. I don't have much horse-sense; corny but true.

Strange thing: just last week I was explaining to someone that that container in the back of my fridge was goose schmaltz (from a post New Years dinner). I couldn't explain why I was saving it other than some vague Eastern European genetic compulsion.

I have never had any kind of schmaltz. But I do love some home-made chopped chicken liver. Or from a good deli. So good.

Likely if you had chopped chicken liver, you've had schmaltz, the rendered chicken fat that makes that chicken liver taste so good and keeps it from being crumbly dry inedible "liver". It isn't a half cup of Mazola that's doing that.
