Play, pause, rewind, or fast-forward...which would you choose today, and why?

Why: It's a beautiful summer day, and it's mine to do with
whatever I wish...so far so good....:)

Fast forward. It's raining, I have things I want to do, I'm irritated.

Play.. Today is a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky. The temp is warm but comfortable. Zumba class is on the horizon and maybe a walk on the railroad trail later this evening.

Fast forward. Work is dragging and I can't do the heavy duty stuff that I need to do, so just let the work portion of the day be over soon, please and thank you.

fast forward....my tummy hurts and I cant get in to a specialist until October. I hate my insurance!

Rewind...had a great evening out...met some nice people...got a few phone numbers. All in all, really good evening for an introvert.

can't decide if it's fast forward or pause. enjoying the long weekend, don't wanna go back to the real world on tuesday, but i'm also having a lot of pain and issues with my legs and feet and i would like that to hurry up and subside already.

Then pause so I can enjoy the time off I have.

Why? Because we took a day trip to Port Townsend, shopped, enjoyed some wonderful food, and when I got back home I re-connected with someone via email..

Record amounts of rain fell yesterday. I was pretty unproductive. Today it is still raining, but not nearly as bad.

Why? Because I want to savor all the things that happened during this month (the leaves changing color, the return of stormy weather, to cherish life).

Today I would rewind several months to the day Joe Biden stepped out of the race for president, and I would replay it with him staying in the race. While I was anxious to have a woman president, I thought it was wrong at the time. Hard to change horses in the middle of the stream. I love Joe Biden. He has done so much for gay-folk even before he was president.

The list of his accomplishments is long. I won't extol them here, but I think he would have won. While I long for a woman president, I long much more for a sane person at the helm of our country.
