Anyone out there enjoy Motor Sports?

NASCAR's first race is today. It's odd to me the biggest event of the season is first instead of last. However Daytona is dubbed "The Great American Race" and is considered the biggest event of the NASCAR season.

Who's your driver?
Who has the best chance to win?
What's wrong with NASCAR?

Talk about anything NASCAR.

I'm not as big into it as I use to be. Use to I wouldn't miss a race. I either had to watch it, listen to it on the radio or go to it. I'm not as obsessed with it now. I do still like to watch Daytona, Talladega, Charlotte, Bristol and the night races, so I do still got it a little bad.

When the military planes make that fly over it gives me chills every race.

The Thunderbirds were burnin it down today!

Challenger The Bald Eagle was a nice little extra as well.

DRIVERS START YOUR ENGINES!

I like Nascar. I used to live in Daytona, on a street very close to the race track and for race week, I had to ride my bike everywhere. Traffic was INSANE and I could not drive my car.

I've always liked Jeff Gordon. I'm sad that this is the Rainbow Warrior's last full racing season. I think he'll still race from time to time though.

It's gotten so nasty and aggressive in the past couple of years especially so I understand why that, and wanting more time with his family, led to his decision.

Diamondrose you are right there is nothing like being at a race. It's loud, exciting and fun.

I've never been a big fan of Jeff Gordon, but was pulling for him to win yesterday. I gotta say he's always been a class act
