I have a bunch of offers for free hotel 'n stuff and that is one of them... I was thinking of staying there...but/and I'd love to hear from anyone who's been?...it looks pretty, I don't know if it's close enough to walk to other casinos?

I haven't stayed there but it's apparently a premier hotel and casino, so I don't think you can go wrong staying there! As I recall, it's right on the strip and close to many other casinos. Keep us posted on your decision!

I'm staying at Harrah's next weekend, but only because it's a holiday weekend and by the time my friend decided whether or not she was going, room rates were astronomical! ugh!

Since they are tearing down our favorite stain-covered hotel, The Sahara, we might be looking at staying at the Rio or maybe the Venetian. The Rio has very good food and they have the bananas foster so it's leaning hard in the Rio's direction right now ;)

On the other hand, I, too, prefer that the bananas foster be within staggering distance to a nap location, so if you guys want to hole up at the Rio, I might just come down and get a room/suite (it's all suites, btw) next door (I totally enjoyed staying in the suite above yours when we were all at the Sahara). That, btw, was one of the most fun times I've ever had with such a wonderful group of peeps!!! :)

Oh, and that room you and Jack had at the Sahara......wasn't someone found dead in that bathroom of yours?? :|

Casa Theo isn't *that* "stained", I'm afraid.

Hi all!

It started out as a poker players' get together in Vegas this Fall, but then we said, "hey, let's open it up to everyone!" So.... please join us November 3rd and 4th (and obviously some people will arrive before and some will stay after) in fabulous Las Vegas! This is not a bash, just a get together. We'll eat together, play together, celebrate our victorious gambling successes together, etc!
