No rules other than it must be a quote or line spoken in a movie! Once someone answers they post a line and so on and so on! I'll start with a simple one:movieguy:

"Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy night!"

Super long but this is one of my favorite parts of a movie ever and you kind of have to read the whole thing together...

You tell God the Father it was a kindness you done. I know you hurtin' and worryin', I can feel it on you, but you oughta quit on it now. Because I want it over and done. I do. I'm tired, boss. Tired of bein' on the road, lonely as a sparrow in the rain. Tired of not ever having me a buddy to be with, or tell me where we's coming from or going to, or why. Mostly I'm tired of people being ugly to each other. I'm tired of all the pain I feel and hear in the world everyday. There's too much of it. It's like pieces of glass in my head all the time. Can you understand?

"i know we have only known each other 3 weeks and 4 days, but to me it seems like 9 weeks and 5 days. the first day seemed like a week, and the second day seemed like 5 days, and the third day seemed like a week again, and the 4th day seemed like 8 days, but the fifth day you went to see your mother and that seemed just as a day, but then you came back and later on the sixth day in the evening when we saw each other, that started seeming like 2 days, so i the evening it seemed like 2 days spilling over into the next day and that started seeming like 4 days, so at the end of the sixth day, on into the seventh day, that seemed like a total of 5 days, and the sixth day seemed like a week and a half"

"Come my friends, 'tis not to late to seek a newer world, for my purpose holds to sail beyond the sunset. And though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are - one equal temper of heroic hearts, made weak by time and fate, but strong in will - to strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

Dead Poets Society version of Tennyson's Ulysses

"We do not read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race, and the human race is filled with passion. Medicine, law, business, engineering - these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life - but poetry, beauty, romance, love - these are the things that we stay alive for.

"To quote from Whitman, 'O me, O life, of the questions of these recurring, of the endless trains of the faithless, of cities filled with the foolish, what good amid these, O me, O life?

"'The answer?

"'That life exists, and identity. The powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse.'

The powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse.

What would your verse be?"

- Dead Poets Society (and their own version of Whitman in there)

I don't recognize this line, but it sounds like it's from a film I'd like.

Just sayin'

No Orema, sorry not from Tootsie and with all your vast movie knowledge, I wouldn't be surprised if you've already seen this flick, maybe more than once!
