Discovered: Coconut Hemp Milk

omfg-this stuff is like crack..It is sooooo delicious! Perfect for a milk substitute for cereal or baking! A little expensive so I decided I wanted to try making it on my own. I took a small sip and it definitely has potential! I'm waiting for it to get cold and will post if it's works. I'm on cloud 9!

I just returned to my accommodation after sitting at a cafe in Portugal for a couple of hours. The coffee here is amazing. Also, they don't do cream (or half and half as Americans call it!) in the coffee (unless it's a dollop on top of a cappuccino sometimes). So, you order coffee with milk and they bring you the cup of hot coffee WITH a container of HOT frothed milk which you pour into the cup of coffee.
SO good.


I stopped drinking alcohol almost four years ago, and coffee has become my beverage of indulgence lol. Helluva lot better for me too.

I love the Peach Tranquility tea and the Youthberry tea from Teavana. The Peach Tranqulity tea is a herbal decaffinatef tea. They both are very flavorful and I love to make iced tea out of them :)

I'm tempted to just throw the grounds into the water, nuke it/make cowboy coffee out of it instead. Well here's to hoping third time's a charm as I head back into the kitchen to attempt this thing again. I hope all this forgetfulness I'm experiencing lately is just due to being drugged out my mind on meds not some horrible, horrid nightmarish symptom, side effect thing related to menopause. Or even worse signs of some early onset Alzheimer's dementia or fibromyalgia fog or something. Or even triple worse signs of all three. The worse thing about getting old I'll tell you isn't the thought of dying it's the fear of thanks to good genetics living through it.

Tonight out for dinner I ordered wine. My spouse looked at me like I was nuts, because I've become very allergic to alcohol for the last few years. Haha! If you have not been to Italy then you need to go. On every corner in Naples and Rome there is a sign that says "bar" but it is a coffee bar. You buy an espresso or cappuccino and get all the pastries and snacks that you want. It is so yummy.
