I know this may seem childish to some or most...but it is writen from the heart...and this goes with a post i made on the Big girl love forum if you care to read it! Thank you and I welcome your input if you have some.
Girls like me sit on the sidelines of life
For no one ever picks us to be on their team
Girls like me watch while the world spins around them
Unable to join in the party or experience the laughter as it seems
Girls like me watch with desire and pain raging in our broken hearts
While those of you dance around with the light of joy and love painted on your pretty faces
We smile to hide the tears which flow without a whimper
We try to find the blessings in the smallest of humble ways
In the hope that we will be noticed and asked to join in the play
We are filled with the same passions and dreams as the rest of you are
Only we are not allowed to live them as you can during the light of day
Girls like me can only close their eyes and pretend to feel the happiness
That which you are overwhelmed with in the greatest of abundance and glory
Girls like me give up on the hope and the will to keep dreaming of our one true love
Girls like me endure our pain and loneliness in steadfast silence, so that you may live free
Girls like me pray for death to sweep us away, for death is only a formality to living
Girls like me are invisible and worthless; we are but a whisper in the wind
We are the ones put here on earth to remind you all of your gratitude for what you have
We pay the price for your joy and dreams. We live in solace and die in vein
Do you see us at all…can you hear our distant tears which are permanently stained on our ashen cheeks
Do you hear our prayers of surrender to a deafened god above?
Do you even care?
