My Macbook Pro and my iPod Touch. I have to give credit: Apple makes some fine products.
Mr Clean has come out with a little sponge that has some miracle cleaner in it for soap scum...........and it WORKS without breaking a sweat! It's like it melts it off without taking off my polish! It's a great little product for about 3 bucks! 2 in a box.
I heart them.

Has to be my Magic Eraser. As many of you know I moved last week and had a lot of damage to the walls from some kids that helped me move try and make ten pounds of chit fit into a five pound box LOL. They stripped a lot of the burgundy dye off my leather couch when it it hit the walls. My sis took that Magic Eraser and away went all the dye and did not strip the paint.

The NEW stainless steel ones are getting a bad review though.
I should probably do another video in the woods behind my house, the woodland animals aren't so noisy here in the South.
...I'm sorry, did you actually just start a fire using cotton balls?
I think this should go in the survival thread, too.

Our Vitamix. It's awesome. Had no intention of getting it until I saw all the cool, delicious things it come make in seconds and got to taste some samples. I'm usually not swayed by that stuff, but, I was up close and personal and it was amazing what this thing could do in no time. REAL peanut butter by tossing real peanuts into it with nothing else added to it. We made ice cream out of fresh fruit. Too much stuff to list here. In any case, pure heaven this Vitamix is. I wanted to toss all kinds of shit into this thing and see what concoctions I could come up with.
Toss me a labcoat and mess my hair, I'm now a mad scientist of the Vitamix! Wait, don't mess my hair, that's sacred ground. Which leads me to another fine product: My hair product (Beyond the Zone) Hair gel. A little dab'll do ya :p

Doggie Doors! I am so tired of being the submissive to four dogs who want to go out and chase leaves for 5 minutes at a time, each at different intervals, come back in and chase again.
A brilliant invention, of which I do not have, as cats can fit through, and so can skunks.

I had a doggie door...it was AWESOME! I believe that you can get a collar with some kinda radio control do-hickey that allows the dogs through the door but not the cats/skunks (in whatever direction).
I spose it they were up the dogs arse they might still get through

Walborne!! It is the Walgreen brand of the Airborne product, invented by a teacher to help stay healthy during cold/flu season. ($6.99 for 10 tablets is well worth it to me to stay healthy!)
I started taking it 3 days before the Vegas bash....have been drinking one every day since...been on two more plane rides, around someone with the H1N1, and I have YET to get sick! *knocking on wood here*
I am normally sick for at least a week after the bash, but because I drank Walborne every morning, I think I stayed healthy when about 85% of the people that went, ended up sicker than dogs!
I am a believer and will continue to drink it every morning!

As fond as I am about what the Magic Eraser can do to get marks off the walls, I really have gripe about it:
Why does it have to dissolve in your hands so quickly?
Since there's no other product (that I know of) that works as effectively, I really wish they'd improve on this little hitch.
Yanno?

Has anyone said The Furminator yet? It's a dog brush thingy that's absolutely amazing. Tried it once, bought one that day. It's the ONLY thing that will clean off a German Shepherd!
And my very fav cleaning product...vinegar. Finally tried if after being told about its magic for about 20years. I now refuse to use anything else. It cleans EVERYTHING, and it even cuts right through that kitchen grease that builds up under the that stove venty thing. AND it's a natural deodorizer...AND it kills fleas. AND it cleans glass, mirrors, walls, floors, EVERYTHING. AND it's cheap as hell. AND it's just magic.

I agree, the Furminator really works well on our extra furry variety of dog, a fawn pug. You could make another dog out of all the fur that comes off of Buster (aka Buster Rhymes, aka Sir Bustem Up, Bustylishious) our pug.

My shark canister steamer. I can clean anything with it! It was $99 at Shopko and well worth the price. I can clean baseboards, cracks, crevices, toilets, sinks, truck tires, absolutely everything you can get wet (or at least damp). It does an amazing job on floors and windows, too.

1. Teavana SnowGeisha white tea. Probably the most decadent, spicy, rosey, original tea I have ever drank. A perfect soft pink color in the cup and an explosive aroma and flavor.
2. Palmer's Shea Butter- It's simple and GREAT for the feet and heels. Really nice smell and absorbs nicely. Butter soft feet in a day or two.
3. Private Reserve Ink - Jack and I use this in our fountain pens. Nice fluidity, doesnt clump, lots and lots and lots of colors.
I have a LOT more :)

I know the ads are kind of silly and even tho it really is mostly a lot of hype and something smelly..I love "ActivOn" when i have joint aches or muscle aches...i think it is the fact that it is a "stick kind of thing" and u end up massaging when u rub it on..but i dont care...7.99 and it lasts me for a good 6 months and my hip doesnt hurt for a good 10 hours after I use it....and it doesnt make icky grease stains on your shirts or clothes or sheets.... :cheer:

I have recently become a tea-fanatic and have been trying various teas over the last few months.
I just found a new (cheap) favorite:
Celestial Seasonings Black Cherry Berry! A nice herbal tea that actually still has a TEA taste with a nice hint of cherry. NOT overpowered with apple or other fruits. Beautiful in the cup and certainly pocketbook-friendly :)

That's Jacks favorite too! She has a cup or two every night before bed.
I actually bought a tea for her that was about 6 times as expensive as the Sleepytime. The more expensive tea was supposed to be "better" as far as taste but it was so overpowered with orange blossom that you could barely taste the chamomille.
I LOVE that Sleepytime uses Spearmint! Gives it a nice kick :)

This product is a candle you can only get it at Dollar General Stores in the fall. Someone bought me a Maple Sugar candle and a Pumpkin Spice candle from there last year. I loved the Maple Sugar. You wouldn't believe the scent it leaves in your whole house. Mom, came over and said mmmm what are you cooking that smells so good. It's making my mouth water LOL. I went back to all of the stores around here and bought what they had left. I ended up with about 8 jar candles. You can bet if they have it again this year, I'll buy every one I see. Yep I'm a candle whore.
Hey Met!
What is your favorite soy milk? I am trying to be more healthy and was going to try to start using soy milk in my smoothies. Is there one that tastes better than the other?
I'd have to say hands down Silk... most others 8th Continent etc. while sometimes less expensive seemed in comparison to taste noticeably watered down.
But Targets off brand, (Archer Farms?) is actually pretty damn good and I think it may costs a little less too.

My large dog is getting up there in years, and my house has tons of stairs. I swear by the Ruffwear Harness. Originally designed for taking dogs on rough trails where they might need to be retrieved from a fall or lifted over rocks or trees, it's become a favorite among pet owners with disabled dogs. It straps securely around the dog, so she won't slip out, and has a sturdy handle on the back. I can lift my 70 pound dog off the ground by the handle. We use it to help her up and down the stairs - no falls, no injuries.
It might not seem cheap, but compare it to the cost of taking a dog injured from a fall to the vet and it's suddenly very cheap.

Coca-Cola Vanilla Zero. I'm drinking science.
I've been drinking this too...I really miss the diet Vanilla Coke, though. I think it tastes better.
We have a conveniece store around here that has many locations within a few hours of each other. In some locations their fountain soda machines have the option to add flavored syrup to your soda (vanilla, cherry, raspberry), and some that don't. I pride myself on knowing which locations have the syrup (to add vanilla to my diet coke) and which ones don't. I only stop at those that do!

Dick's Sporting Goods is selling the outdoor chairs for camping and such for plus size people. I was really surprised, and happy. They had sizes for the chairs marked, that really shocked me. In one cardboard box was a load of chairs that was called a King Kong Chair - that holds up to 500 lbs.; in another box was a Camp Chair - that holds up to 425 lbs.; and lastly, a Big Cat Chair that holds up to 800 lbs. These chairs are also sold online at Kingsize Direct and Living XL, but the prices vary from $40 all the way to $100.
I bought one of these a few years ago at Dick's and used it all the time. It has been drug all over the east coast and in the Carribean. I highly recommend them. They come in blue, green, red, and pink. I hit the July 4th sale, plus used a coupon in the newspaper and got my chair for about $20. It really has been well worth it.

Scott's EZ-Grow grass seed is great for re-seeding those patches that seem to just appear in one's lawn. It has its own peat moss and fertilizer, just sprinkle it liberally in the area you want to have some grass, water it and then water again when the peat moss turns tan. It doesn't matter if the place gets a lot of sun or its in the shade, the grass seed mixture transforms a patch of dirt into a luxurious patch of fine, deep green grass. My patches now look better than the rest of the lawn!

I have bottles, cans, pumps, sprays of cheap to expensive stuff for my curly hair. None of them really helped to define my curls, keep it smooth/non-frizzy, be soft to the touch and non-greasy until a fellow curly-head turned me onto this product.

Not only does this organic salve make boo-boo's, owies, or anyplace on your body that needs a soothing touch, to feel better, but it smells lovely. The base of the salve is made of organic bees wax, cold pressed organic hemp seed oil from Canada, and lots of custom blend organic flower-type oil from cloves, eucalyptus, spearmint, and rosemary.
I'm on my way to the Dr.s office (naturopath practice) because every strand of my body hurts. But, Sacred Earth body salve is awesome.

I can vouch for the "It's a Ten" spray mist and the tub of deep conditioning mask. It's almost too rich for my fine curly hair, so I tend to use it once a month, maybe more during summer months. The product comes in signature cobalt blue bottle/tubs, with a white label (trimmed in hot pink).
My favorite hair product to use lately I is made by Matrix: Biolaģe Exquisite Hair Oil. I use all three of them in random, alternate ways. Strengthening (pink) - about once a week. Protective (amber) - almost daily. Softening (Tortoise) - whenever I want my hair to be gorgeous --- whenever I use this oil in particular, I seem to get lots of compliments on the way my hair 'behaves'.
When I straighten my hair with a ceramic flat iron, I use the pink oil before I apply the iron. After I am completely finished ironing my hair straight (or with a big barrel iron), I follow through with a touch of the amber oil. After my hair has cooled off completely, it's one more touch of the Tortoise (softening) oil.
I don't straighten my hair often, but when I do, it's because I like to put it up in a loosely styled French twist.

My boss introduced me to Norwex products...(I'm sure they have a website)
They have what I HATE to call rags...they clean glass and stainless streak free without chemicals. They are $40 for a set of these gems...and worth every damn penny. If you follow the care instructions they will last forever...

I used to make my own riced cauliflower, but now I purchase a bag from Trader Joes. I imagine other stores are selling it, too. I put it in a freezer bag, put it in the freezer, and just take out what I need.
I'm nuts about this because it's so versatile—you can put almost anything in it (mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, pesto, lemon sauce) and it tastes good.

I eat it frequently because I love rice. Granted, it doesn't taste like rice, but I'm able to use it the same as rice (or macaroni, couscous, etc).

It's kind of expensive, that is the price for a small jar of it, but my mother told me to use a product called: blu-emu oil.
Oh. My. I need a truck load of this, please.
It is used for muscle aches and pains. Doesn't smell, it's fast acting, doesn't burn or feel hot, but rather, it feels cool. Like a chilling effect, sort of.
But you can use it ad a super moisturizer (on your face, hands, feet, anywhere on your body, really).

I have to say, I grabbed a NYX lipstick out of curiosity the other day at Ulta and have been super pleasantly surprised. As vibrant as MAC. Staying power. And amazing reds!
I have several friends who do drag and they swear by the NYX brand!
This is one of my faves (because I just picked up 2 more!)

It's pretty decent!! It doesn't strip my color nearly like some of the other shampoos I've used. I've found the trick for me is to keep my water at a cooler temp while shampooing and then use practically cold water with my conditioner. When I changed the temp of my water I started getting 2 - 3 weeks longer before my color started to fade :)

Let me know how it works!! I also recently had my hairdresser tell me that the iron content of water can really affect the color too. She said that cities that use a lot of softener in their water will also sometimes cause it to fade a bit sooner.

Good to know. I've got hard water but it still fades faster than I'd like. I'm going to look up your shampoo and try it out.
Okay, did that. It's a little out of my budget but when I win the lottery....I'm so getting some of that.

I love their products for affordability, earth friendly, small carbon footprint, vegan, no parabens, no additives which cause harm, and no guilt. I've found their products at Target or Walmart or at Fred Meyer's (Kroger), but Target has the best price, so far, and the best selection.

I haven't used them but still in the vein of make pretty feel good, has anyone tried magnetic false eyelashes? The eyeliner has something metal in it so you apply that and then the false lashes supposedly stick to it. They're marketed as being safe (though some brands are FDA approved others not) simple to apply after a little practice, said to stay put but easy to remove when you want them off. I never wore false eyelashes when I was young but now that I'm getting older...

I have tried a lot of different Chai teas. For boxed teas, Trader Joe's is hands down my favorite. Great spice blend (IMHO). It's only $2.50/box, yeah! I dress it up like a cup of coffee with some half and half and coconut sugar. I also like it with coconut milk.
