Guess what, watching Lawrence O'Donnell in a small NY town, is absolutely boring.

Would rather be drunk and high on a stranger's couch even with a decades' sobriety.

Mom and I are watching "Live From Lincoln Center" The New York Phillhamica with Renee Fleming. We are enjoying the last night of our festive Christmas tree with Brandy and snacks. Everytime I see the flute I think of my dear friend.

I stay glued inside my house on NYE until the munitions stop blasting, the skies stop exploding in silver glittery gun powder tufts...light rain, not a good night for outdoorsy drinkers. Smells like sulphur...the drizzle hasn't slowed down any of these pyros in the 'hood.
