This is for places, at least in your opinion, you want to give fellow travelers a heads up to avoid at all costs...

IMHO you'd be wise to bypass Jose's Famous Salsa 126 E Washington St
When a place can't do or chooses not to do something as easy as chips, don't hold out hope for other menu items to be much better!
Jose's sells a decent commercial salsa in local grocery stores around here and the restaurant has a wonderful salsa bar, it's just a shame the uninspired, hard, and bland chips, along with several other items on the menu, are so unworthy!

For some unearthly reason it seems you can hardly read an article about the scenic route along highway101 without a mention of Fat Smitty's!
IMO it's highly over-rated and my advice when approaching it, put the pedal to the metal and pass it up like a dirty shirt!
If you're expecting a nice juicy burger, you won't find it here! Keep driving..

As if the driest, tasteless, and lowest grade of ground beef isn't enough to avoid this place like the plaque, perhaps knowing they are Trump supporters is!

Pyramid Alehouse.....1201 1st Ave S, Seattle
A King County Superior Court judge ruled that Independent Brewers United must pay $450,000 to current and former employees at the Pyramid Alehouse in Seattle. The settlement will see Independent Brewers United, the parent company of Pyramid Brewing, pay some individuals as much as $9,800. According to a report in the Seattle Times, the ruling affects about 300 people who were owed unpaid wages.
According to the lawsuit, the company did not pay overtime or accurately record work hours for employees, shaving hours off of time sheets to keep employees under the threshold for overtime pay.
The lawsuit also purported that Independent Brewers United didn’t provide meal or rest breaks. Because of its location near T-Mobile Park and Century Link Field, the alehouse sees heavy traffic during game days and concerts. Employees alleged that it was impossible to take breaks on such event days.
The settlement also requires Pyramid Alehouse to educate employees about basic employee rights, like knowing when they are on and off the clock.

If you like me had this establishment on your list of places to try in Chicago, I've just discovered all locations have been closed as they have declared bankruptcy.:|
