my slice is upstairs. Doesn't quite look like this, but it's my project this summer to make it look beautiful. So many ideas happen in there. You might even find me in there to just escape and take in the scent of the room :)

I am hoping if things go as planned I will be sitting by the ocean all by myself this weekend. Just reflecting.

Walking downtown under trees dripping in lights or perhaps just a used book store sitting on an old couch :)

My little patio, and all the flowers and planters, and the look on hys face when we're there after working all day, with the tree frogs barking and the furkids happy, as we plan the week, the month, the summer, and our vacations...

My time in South Lake Tahoe was at times the loneliest I've known. During that time, I really learned to just be with myself for the first time in a long time. At the same time, I began regular meditation practice during this time. I often would go to sit alone at the lake and meditate in the evenings after dark while the water lapped the rocky shore. I was so relieved to get back to Texas, but I left a part of me there. I miss that cold lake, the mountains and the pines.

One of them is the Morro Bay / Los Osos area -- with trips into San Luis Obispo for good beer, food and shopping. I love that area.

hmmm my slice of heaven would be to see the morning sun rise while curled up in the arms of a special person, to look at there face as the glow from the sun shines upon them and feel the warmth and comfort together, no special place needed no words just the feeling of heaven
