Good Afternoon Liam,

You are welcome...I am a music junkie, some of my fave bands are Motley Cure, The Cure, NIN, Manson and PitBull...My iPhone has almost one gig of music on it and I am going to upgrade to the 16 gig iPhone so I can put more music on it...

I am off to La La Land and since my roommate is off this weekend, I get to sleep in..Woohoo...I might make a trip to visit my mom in NSB, FL and go swimming...

I would love to go fishing here some time I just need to get my gear together..Don't have anything. Since I moved back home and don't feel like asking a friend to send it down from alaska...just 1 pole. I need to get all new tackle.

Yes, flying solo here and it can get rather lonely here.
only been out of my last relationship about less than a yr BUT she was gone all last yr and very little contact other than by phone.

This is something that I have been wondering or has been on my mind...
I know that there is the thread Butch/Butch Theory...and that sorta fits there but it kinda fits here too.
OK this is what has been on my mind and would like some in put or advice:
I am a 41 yr old soft butch in SO. Cal NOT too far from Pasadena. I have been out of my last relationship for about a yr, well from the time that she stopped calling me until she wrote me an email and told me that she had found someone else and was moving there to be w/ her and how compatible they were etc. Also I am mostly attracted to androgynous, soft butch and butch women.
I am a lil bit scared about meeting someone new because of the fact that it hasn't been that long since my last relationship, but technically our relationship was dying about 2 1/2 yrs ago.
MOSTLY why I am scared is because of the trust factor here and NOT knowing how to learn how trust again. That is what I was wanting to know...

I don't have a formula for you to follow, and I think this would be a great reason to find a therapist, if you don't already have one, and discuss it with them. I think that its important to trust yourself, and when setting up that first meeting, be smart—let your friends know where you are going, preferably it is a public space. If its in another city, make sure your friends know the name, address and phone number of the person you are going to see. Have a friend that you can check in with.

I agree with Liam and also want to add that when I'm interested in someone I watch the little things that they do. Some things may be insignificant to others but you can learn a lot about a persons character by little things that they do. It's also hard because sometimes unexpected circumstances lead to certain situations in life that people never thought they would be a part of. Good luck with your search.

I agree with both Liam and Organicbutch. My ex thread stalked me before we started dating and when she decided to end the relationship, she threw a lot of stuff in my face that I had written on the other site over two years earlier when I first joined. From what I have seen, is that she still goes and looks at my profile page on the other site and has had her friends pm me here on this site to see what I will tell them of the breakup. I learned a hard lesson and one I won't repeat again. I have met some wonderful ppl from this site and the other site, and I haven't let what she did to me affect my trust in ppl.

Good Afternoon Singles,

Hope everyone had a wonderful start to their week. I spent the day watching my oldest niece, nephew and baby nephew for my mom. It was hotter than hell outside today and I am glad to be home in the a/c.

It is hotter as hell here too. We did get some good rains over the pass 2 or 3 days. Now its hot as hell and steamy to boot!!! LoL.
