Happy June 1st,
A little cloudy today, not sure if it is the weather or the Thunder loosing to the Spurs. They played hard and that is all a fan can ask for. The count down is on for Red to leave for her trip, we have been busy getting everything ready to mail to the college dorm where she will be staying. We are going out for breakfast or brunch today, not in the mood to cook. Happy Sunday Over Easy to everyone and to a great week ahead. Okie. |
happy sunday...my favorite day! i got to sleep in a bit and then went to church...now baking a lemon chicken and watching a movie :)

I slept late on purpose (took me three times of going back to sleep to accomplish that feat but I'm no quitter!), worked out, ate, showered, shopped and ran errands. Lovely day!

It's raining again. If the humidity wasn't so bad afterwards it would be very nice. Our farmers out in western Oklahoma really need the rain so it is very welcomed. I like the rain it seem to slow everything down.
Last weekend with our foster pups. Taking them next Saturday to meet the new forever mommy in Wichita, KS. Then they are off to their new home in Nebraska. I am going to really miss Ms. Daisy and Mr. Mouse. They have been quite a treat to have around the home. Going out for brunch today. Wishing everyone a laid back "Over Easy" Sunday and a great week ahead. Peace. |
happy sunday! i dozed on and off all day yesterday after a very intense week in arkansas...i am on my third load of laundry and still in my pjs...contemplating a third cup of coffee and looking forward to mamma miia tonite! :)

Woke up at my usual crack of dawn time, dealt with the dogs' and my bladder then went back to sleep.
Drinking excellent coffee and doing laundry while half assed cleaning my house and watching TV I am making muy picante Cuban black beans and rice for dinner It is good day |
Happy Father's Day to everyone out there. I am fortunate to have my Father around and we are going over for lunch today. It's been a fun filled weekend, my brother is now the pitching coach at the high school we both attended. Red and I took the foster doxies to Kansas yesterday to meet their new forever mommy and all is well. Busy couple of weeks ahead.

Started the day waiting for the yumminess to open. I had an early morning meeting with the girls at work, and had a request for Cinnabons.
What a gooey way to start the day! You can practically smell them now.....hehehehe |

A relaxing, laid back kind of Sunday here.
We did ride out to PetsMart to see the available dachsies for adotpion, but they had NONE! I do have my eye on one on a rescue site, a cute lil senior...a ruddy, reddish color with icy frosted white face!!! Thank YOU, Okiebug for all your kindnesses and fostering the little ones you did!!! |

My own dachshund isn't doing well right now with liver issues and possibly lymphoma...so I have to devote this time to her...how ever long I will have her. We had rounded a corner and seemed to be doing well...then last day or so, she is showing some of the earflier symptoms. She will be 12 on the 28th!!! |
Our Sunday really started on Saturday. We went and watched a double feature had lunch in between then came back to my place to sit around the pool for awhile.
Today was breakfast then church and back to her place for movies and dinner. I love these lazy weekends which doesnt happen much but we enjoy them when we get them |
Yesterday was definitely over easy. A good workout first thing, a good filling breakfast, scrub a dub time, chores and errands and a teenage flick just for me. Good times!

Did someone say Muggy? Ugh the mug is on here in Oklahoma. It makes for a busy work week but it wears one out. I am ready to do nothing all day but have to start preparing for Red to leave next Sunday. Cooking fresh sausage and egg breakfast pockets with fresh fruit on the side. Have a lazy laid back over easy Sunday everyone. May your week ahead be filled with all that is good.

2 cups of coffee then i was awake enough to cook chorizo and eggs...rolled in tortillas...yummmm...the kids spent the nite last nite they are getting ready for work...my hunny bunny went to work this morning but he is on his way home to watch movies with meeeeeeee :) have a good week!

Exercise, check.
Food, check. Hygiene, check. Work, almost check. Not particularly easy today but not especially difficult either, since it's a half day at work. |
