getting involved in dog rescue.
today, because I was working on another dog, they asked if I wanted to help in another matter. omg...the worst animal pound I have ever seen. (via video) Long story short...we pulled three dogs out that surely would have died overnite. One was a newfie mix who was screaming in pain for THREE DAYS and biting and tearing at her back and hips yet they did nothing. Ice was inside on the floor..feces everywhere...frozen water in all their buckets (no pails..just horse buckets) last week legal action was taken to remove 30 dogs out of there (yes its the county's pound!) only 10 are surviving from just the weekend. the newfie girl is no longer screaming..she has seen the vet. I am waiting to hear what was wrong... |
Miss Pink's homemade hot chocolate with cinnamon snowman marshmallows, my Mama's homemade chess squares, being silly while singing "Fruitcakes" to the dogs before I went to the post office to pick up a package of the BEST fruitcake on the planet,hanging with Miss Pink and the Pack on a lazy snow day off from school!!

Semi-quiet nights at home, watching my honey work and tormenting him from time to time when he can't say or do anything back, being warm and toasty, turning around to turn on the Xmas lights and seeing he already has, listening to my honey sing in his 'good' voice (the rest of the time, not so much), feeding my guy, watching and discussing The Sing Off, catching up with our Hulu que, getting more calls for interviews, knowing there's candy and ice cream just a few feet away from me, and talking about the future with my honey.

Hmmmm...what do i enjoy...trick question..i enjoy alot!!!! I enjoy the feel of a lit cigarette between my lips,the warm smoke filling my lungs,the calmness it brings when im pissed and about to flip my lid.
I enjoy the feel of a woman wrapped in my arms...the soft gentle kiss from a woman lips..the way her hair falls in my face as im tryin to go to sleep..the scent of a woman..the softness of her skin...her breath against my skin as she buries her face in my neck..watching as she drifts off to sleep,feeling each breath she takes,every beat of heart..waking and seeing her naturally beautiful face in faint rays of the rising sun..the way she smiles and stretches when she awakens to my lil kisses.... As i said..i enjoy ALOT!!!! How can u pin point ONE thing in life when there are so many of lifes lil pleasures that so many take for granted daily??? Call me a hopeless romantic and a dying breed but those are the most enjoyable of things in life...love,romance and family!!! |

I enjoy triathlons. I miss them greatly. I am sitting here in the dead of winter forming a plan in my mind to compete and complete at least two for 2011. I enjoy the feeling of pushing the limits of what my middle aged, not treated so kindly body can do in the water, on the bike, and during the run. I enjoy coming out of the water, running for my bike,feeling the water streaming off of me then mixing with my sweat to be dried by the speed of my movement and the wind on my bike. I enjoy the flying dismount off of my bike and the long hard slog of running as fast as an oak tree with legs can run! Most of all I enjoy the feeling of crossing the finish line. I know that my only competition is ME, because I am big, slow,and not a spring chicken. But that feeling of accomplishment, of saying "I can do this" and finishing what I started can NEVER be taken away from me and I can't wait to feel it again!

Well this afternoon I enjoyed running into 2 brothers at 2 different places and them telling me what a, in their words.......Cluster F***........it was at work today. Of the 3 people doing my job today they had 9 loads only loaded 6 of them and of those 6 they had to unload 2 of those. One was loaded on the wrong trailer and the other was missing a skid, when they figured out what skid it was it was a 20' skid that had to go in the nose of the trailer so they had to unload all of it...........Ahhhhhhh I sure enjoy being missed
